Not a bad half. Largely controlled by us. Liked Stephens calmness on the ball and his ability to get the ball into the feet of the strikers. Shame he’s been injured a lot as I feel he would have been a regular in the midfield.

Although not the saviour by any means Stephens has to start now if only for his ability to pass it forward not been great but he'll atleast he looks forward first.

Worst signing since Hart to some on here yet he’s never had an injury free run in the side.

To be leading 1-0 possibly flatters us, but we'll take it, important for the lads just to get a win on the board today to get their confidence levels up again ahead of the key games with Leicester & Watford.

Stephens pushing his claims for a PL start on that 45, and good finish by Jay, but the defence worries me again as even against a Championship outfit we've looked vulnerable at the back.

If we hold our nerve and defend well second half this could be one of the 3rd round shock results. Need to keep up the physicality and dont allow Huddersfield to play football and fingers crossed we could be in the hat for the 4th round and maybe get a glamour tie which Im sure Mr Pace would welcome.

No way does that flatter us. Apart from that final free kick they have created zero. We are doing OK but look like we la k Co firenze. Mind you we are super unbalanced with the side we have out.

Nit sure about Wood - he looks totally off it

Agree, a home tie against a big club, someone like Rovers perhaps would be great.

Well! people have been asking for formation changes, and Wood just isn't at the races for whatever reason, pity as I hoped he'd grab a goal or two today to get him going again.

Jay with a half chance after a neat pass out to Bardsley, followed by a cross in to the box

I'm not Wood's biggest fan, and his finishing has completely deserted him recently

But his hold up play, on the whole, has been good recently. He certainly needs a goal. But without his goalscoring, I don't think his hold up play alone brings us enough to warrant selection.

Next 40 might just prove me wrong tho
