Dyche was reportedly earning £70k per week after he signed his new contract in 2018. Since signing a new 4 year deal in 2021 it's probably fair to assume that he's now earning significantly more than that, making him comfortably the highest earner at the club.
Can anyone realistically see Dyche walking away from such a lucrative deal to just kick his heels at home until a decent job offer comes along? That must surely be a very unlikely scenario.
You'd have to hope that there's a relegation clause in his contract, like most player contracts, which significantly reduce his salary in the event of relegation, because that sort of salary is unsustainable in the Championship.
