A really accomplished first half performance (albeit helped by the ref) - we look the real deal.

Yep and today without our two most creative players (before the break) in Zaroury and Benson. Fantastic stuff.jedi_master wrote: ↑Sun Dec 11, 2022 1:50 pmLike we’ve never been away! I had the same concern, sometimes a break isn’t what you need. Seems like for us it’s affected nothing and given us two more options in Darko and Twine. Perfect.

Its no wonder we are selling out games with this kind of Football on display ... My late Bro would've loved this

Terrific first half. Easy to be a bit of it after the long break. Theres been a few sloppy passes but overall we've been straight back in the groove.

2-0 up and Jay Rod has had the least touches on the pitch, just wait until Benson, Twine Churlinov come on !

Top quality stuff. Jay hardly in the game and we are still 2 up. Cork and Cullen are magnificent.

Mixed half from Tella. Not sure he’s ever really suited a role hugging the touchline. For me he’s more a dynamic inside forward/second striker.

Most complete half of the season and there’s been some good ones. Some of the passing has been absolutely top class.

After 8 years of falling out of love with the game, it getting old and ugly, stale and more boring by the week - me and football are back on! And she's beautiful again!!

Grab another (or 2) in the first 15mins of the second and will give Twine a good run out with no pressure on him

Watching the half time analysis… defo penalty my ar5e. Player played for “contact” and didn’t “win” the pen and didn’t get it.

The good thing above our performances and upward curve is that other sides are going to increasingly fear and try to contain us.

Re: Match Day Thread v QPR
Sky commentary team talking about QPR having two anchors in the team ... I thought how rude calling them two wanchors then realised what they said

Re: Match Day Thread v QPR

QPR started this half better, need to get back to keeping possession.
Re: Match Day Thread v QPR
Made me laugh in the first half when they mentioned QPR were a key player down because he’s away at the World Cup… guess Zaroury doesn’t exist then…
The commentary has been poor today, more than normal

What else would you expect from a commentary team of Lee Hendrie and former QPR player Jamie Mackie
