Decent first half from us, apart from the goal, that is.

Haha some you lot are bonkers. We are doing well. Think a few subs could change this and their Keeper looks like Bambi on ice. There is something in this for us.

Have noticed in the first half every 50 /50 decision has gone the same way.

Is it me or is Josh Brownhill looking really tired already
He is an excellent championship player but you can see the difference in the PL, in his position you need more pace and quicker feet.

Just hope we can play with a bit more belief going forward. Definitely need to test their keeper more if possible

A second goal from Man Itd looks more likely. The consultation is that no championship side would score that goal

Good to see Gary Neville is still spouting utter sh1te. I feared he might have got it all off his chest in Qatar.

Gave a good account of ourselves first 45. Looking forward to 2nd half. Think another moment of class from utd could put tie to bed , but , at 1.1. with the bench we've got we're defo still in this.

Think we’re doing okay tbh and it’s a great learning opportunity for our younger, less experienced players.
Let’s not forget just how big a jump in standard this is! This ain’t Huddersfield away for example.

Josh is not in the game tonight for some reason. Twine might be a good swop.

A bit more pace in the passing is needed its a gear up from the championship. Tempted after 60 mins to swap Barnes for twine or churlinov. Breyer looks class and comfortable, maatsens pace keeps him in touch with rashford. Lots to be positive about. Pace missing up front with Barnes as the holder. Cork and brownhill battling. Where as in the championship they boss it. So a good marker for me if we go up where we need to step on. Would like to see how twine does if he comes on. But overall not disheartened

They'll tire after 75 mins don't panic. Keep in the game and we've a real chance. I'd like to see Churlinov on for JBG, J Rod for Ash and possibly twine on for one on the CMs as the game progresses..

JB working very hard in the press but yes little on the ball for him (or Barnes) yet.

We need to make sure we don't concede another shortly after ht. Keep the pressure on and we come good.

Rashford getting in down our left on the counter or playing through our press concerns me for the second half.

It's a shame Zaroury and Tella are unavailable, we could do with their pace up front.

Yep very true. It’s the physicality and the pace at this level you just don’t realise until you watch championship football
Good learning lesson, think we're missing Zaroury, a real striker of quality and some quality in the 10 role.

As good as cork and cullen have been this season I think this game shows we need a physical presence in the centre of the park.

I do agree we are missing Zaroury

Cork and Cullen have been excellent today. Up against a very good midfield. Yes a physical, athletic type CM would be on my shopping list if we go up though.
