Two really poor performances from Lancs. Coincided with livingstone return and as captain. Strolling around like the big I Am! Was at headingly last night and his batting and leadership was all about him and not playing smart aggressive cricket as Malan did. Bowling wood out when it was clear spin or med pace was more effective seemed poor captaincy.

Totally agree, off to Durham tonight hope the performance is much improved. Probably a bit reckless because good batters to follow if they were out. Yorkshire had already shown the way to play was with more control than going big all the time .

Playing Wood out was rediculous

Say it every season I don’t think he’s much of a cricketing brain. A powerful hitter who on odd occasions will get a big score but more likely to be caught out for 20 odd. There was zero game plan last night apart from slog the ball.

Can't really expect much else from a Rovers fan.

He claimed to be in their 'glory days' but I remember him saying a few years ago that he was fed up with them (probably when they got relegated) and was changing to allegiance - I think to Manchester City, which just about sums him up.

Lancashire are having a poor season.
Winless in the Championship, and three Blast defeats in a row.
I know we're missing Keaton Jennings, but something is not right at Old Trafford.

I stand to be shot down but I don’t think Livingstone is the right man to captain our side, nor do I think he should have a ball in his hands in the twenty over game!

Spot on there Steve, Livingstone as you predicted out for 20.

Sadly most of these Lancashire players don’t combine into a team. Many are now mercenaries with their best money coming from other teams. Lancashire are secondary employment for them and it shows in their attitude. Tonight lots of missfields for Lancashire, but Durham faultless with some brilliant catching.

Bad captain and a bad coach. Keep it in the Lancashire family!

Lancs looking very ragged in the field again with both Hose and Santander being dropped. The unbeaten home record is in danger here.

I thought, in the main, we were poor and lacked sense tonight. Worcestershire very quickly adjusted their bowling to match the sticky pitch. That said, we beat the league leaders. Maybe that’s a good sign

Clearly all eyes on the test match but got the last group game for Lancs playing on my phone.

Jos Buttler has just taken an incredible catch off the bowling of Wood and Northants are 18/2 from 2.4

Good start

Anyway, back to hiding behind the sofa…
