Each to their own - I loved all three of last years and to some on here they were awful. End of the day, it's just a shirt! I hope the third kit is more appealing to my own tastes or I won't be getting one this season I don't think (or at least until I see what the home one is like in the flesh anyway).

Any year where the home shirt has a collar and the away is yellow is a bad kit year in my eyes.

That said, I rarely buy them so my opinion on this has little value.

Personally I think it looks more Burnley than either of last season’s efforts (although I did like the black one). At least it’s actually a colour we first wore as an away shirt nearly 50 years ago now. But away kits are now becoming the avenue for clubs to look at non traditional colours as a lot of this season’s away kits prove.

I like a yellow or white away kit. It’s better than the original leaked photo but it’s still not the best. They’ve tried to do something different and I still think it’s better than the home kit with that awful collar. Can’t imagine the kids one will look good with that sponsor logo. My son will be making do with last seasons and other kits so 2 lost sales. Hopefully 3rd kit will be an improvement.

My son looked at it and said it was dreadful too.

Last year the kids absolutely loved the kits. I’ve never seen so many Burnley kits at football training, etc. Imagine this year they’ll be wearing last seasons unless the 3rd kit is decent.

Is a third kit necessary? Can anyone give another PL or EFL home kit that both of this seasons kits will clash with? Possibly a Bradford City creation (hav'nt seen theirs ) but I can' think another anywhere near to a match

I'm not convinced it's Umbro though. Like I've said, they've provided some brilliant designs for other clubs. It's whoever makes the choices at the club, I think.

Sorry to be contrary, but I actually like it.

That said if the stripe had been diagonal it would look much better.

Less said about the sponsorship logo the better but it's actually decent and in reality looks nothing like Watford.

I love this time of year when there's proper drama over some nylon and colours.

I'm not often critical of the club as pleasing everyone really is a pretty much impossible task tbf, but whoever signed off on that shirt wants showing the door. Dreadful.

Popped into the club shop this morning and had a closer look. It’s a nice shirt and whilst I won’t be buying it (40 year old shouldn’t be wearing a bright yellow football shirt!) it was already bringing in a few sales. It’s definitely got the thumbs up from my ten year old though.
