Bellamy left thinking he was joining kompany at BM & BM put the block on that leaving him with little choice other than coming back. I'm glad JBG is staying on but let's not pretend he wasn't waiting for other offers which didn't materialise hence the change of mind. Everybody's out for themselves.
Jakub do you seriously think people live in a world where they know nothing until things happen to them?

Unfold the events in your mind. Bellamy, believes that Kompany is going to take him to BM because Kompany tells him he is only to secretly block him with BM? Does that sound remotely likely to you?

JBG would certainly have known prior to leaving if there were other offers on the table. He has signed on a one year contract and it seems impossible to believe that he not could find AN Other club to sign a player who has performed decently in the PL last season.

I mean do you walk out of your house on a daily basis not knowing anything and are then completely surprised by what does happen?

All I've asked of you is to explain how JBG resigning "shows how toxic things had become".

That was your claim in your OP. Surely you have something to back it up?
I have nothing to back it up other than he wanted to leave after saying he had some brilliant memories at Burnley and then he said he was on a plane back from Holland and the chairman was on and he talked him into coming back, like i said all ear say but funny Jay signs extension when Kompany left and Bellamy was asked back by Pace to come back and hold the Fort until we had a manager in . Also didn't some senior players get the players together before Xmas in Manchester to try and bond the squad ...

Ah, so you were just spreading rumours. Glad we got to the bottom of that.

Kompany was the MANAGER of Burnley football club
I get the impression you are in a management position, and probably just yell at employees if they don’t do agree with your opinion

not spreading rumours just hearing from people in the know as i don't live in the UK and putting 2 + 2 together you can see things were not right just glad Bellamy is back and Jay and JBG are signed , would that have happened if Vincent was still manager i very much doubt it but i could be wrong...

No. An opinion based on circumstantial evidence which actually pretty is much the same as my opinion.

At that time Bellamy was/is contracted to the club it would have meant compensation for the both & I believe that was a bridge too far for BM & they wasn't willing to factor in CB as part of the deal. Events all the time can take different turns & twists as things slowly develop & are suspectible to change. It's a more plausible theory than 2 men having a heated disagreement forcing 1 (in this case CB) to go AWOL coincidentally at the same time it emerging that Kompany would likely be leaving. Regarding JBG you sit & wait it out take your time mull the offer over whilst considering your options as he's more than entitled to do. At 34 years of age his best days are well & truly behind him. Are you trying to suggest with all that in mind had a better offer came along he would have refused it.

Nobody leaves a club on the presumption they are joining another club without securing a contract and having conversation with their future employer first - unless they are complete idiots.

I think it is completely plausible that Bellamy left the club after a disagreement he has a history of being a combustible character.

I didn't say JBG he had a better offer - I said it was completely implausible he didn't have an offer.

I think it is completely plausible that at 33 years old JBG would want to remain at a club he's been at for 8 years with his family and young children like Jay Rod. I've had better job offers from London based companies and turned them down because why would you?

None of us know the truth but the argument that somehow Bellamy left because he got it into his head that he was going to Bayern Munich seems infinitely less plausible than the fact he acted as he has done throughout his career and moved on.

I guess everyone has their own opinion and no one knows the truth other than those involved.

I'm sure he was great for the camp at Norwich, but he was well off the pace on the pitch last season.
