I think there less chance of Parker walking. He now has the chance to recruit people on his own watch, and who want to be here for the club, rather than Kompany.

Yes, the timing of all this is utter shite, but I don't think promotion is a write-off if newbies take a few months to settle in.

I'm trying to remain positive - it's better for my mental health. I'll write the season off if we are well away from the top six in mid-January. Until then, I'll try to enjoy what I fork out with my hard-earned every season.
