Cracking win, but jeez, we don’t make it easier for ourselves do we. Shouldn’t be making last ditch tackles in the 91st minute after being 2-up and cruising in the 1st half.

I thought when Hannibal hit the post for 3 and laughed it off, "oh crap". You just knew that second half would be tough.

Who cares now its over, 3 points is all that matters.

Well played to JT, Esteve and Pires at the end there with some crucial claims/interceptions. On to the next one... UTC!

S**t performance second half but just about deserved the win. It’s not always fun to watch but 3 points are all that matter at this stage of the season…..

Thought Hannibal was excellent. Would have subbed Browny off instead. Thought he was blowing.

Every manager says 2-0 is the most dangerous scoreline and for good reason.

Well done Burnley, the win is all that matters at this stage.

Norwich came out in the second half with nothing to lose and we definitely felt the pressure but unlike Sheff Utd we didn't succumb.

Top of the league with 4 to go

A lot of players below their average. Edwards just seems to get worse every appearance so he's due a great game.
Just grateful for the win, shame Hannibals effort on HT didn’t go in. That would have calmed a lot of nerves.

Important win. Played some lovely football at times. Our press tired second half and they nick a set piece to make it more nervy than it should have been. Been a busy week with 3 games, including two tricky away games. Thought Foster’s fresh legs and movement were missed off the bench when Flemming tired. Nice week break until the next.

Agree, Hannibal could have had a hat trick tonight which is hopefully a good sign for the remaining games. 4 more wins please….🙏

Plymouth are right in the mix if they win tomorrow, they'll be desperate to win. And anyone who can beat Liverpool, can beat Sheffield United. And we know from experience that Preston are horrible to play against.

Before the game I was hoping for a win and 3 points.
At half time I was hoping we'd go on and score a few more.
When Norwich got their goal I was getting worried.

But all's well that ends well and we got the 3 points.
And hopefully no more injuries.

And that will put a tad more pressure on Leeds and Sheff. Utd.
although can see them both winning tomorrow.

Should have put that to bed before they scored but I think that last 15 minutes is the first time this season I've seen Burnley look so nervy. Maybe pressure showing, maybe a bit of tiredness after 3 games in 7 days. Results are all that matter at this stage though, and it's been a really good week on that front.

Agree with this, but Norwich also played 3 games in 6 days, with a long trip to Plymouth in there as well.

We don’t rotate often, or substitute heavily, which has generally been the right decision throughout the season because our in game performances tend to drift after subs. But it does mean we look extremely leggy at times and often have to hang on like tonight.

You've got to give Norwich credit, haven't seen Burnley so troubled with the ball in-behind since Sunderland at home. Was a very nervy watch but we found a way to win and its a huge three points.

Sargent and Sainz are too good for that Norwich side. Their movement was excellent.

I think we could do a lot worse than take a closer look at Sargent in particular this summer.

I felt altho they were lumping it forward towards the end I didn't feel that nervous, I thought we looked like we had it under control, saw the match out well.

Good 3 PTS.

I think that will be us as good as up now
