Re: TONIGHTS GAMES
Really pleased Grimsby got through but no idea how. Pym dived early for almost every pen and still saved one.
Really ticked off with Cunha picking up injured players. SP should tell them for Saturday if he touches you forget your leg injury and grab your elbow or shoulder. Feck him.
All of the corners they had in the last 15 minutes were delivered 5yds out in line with the far post. Grimsby repeatedly went with the runners and left that zone empty. I hope somebody at the club noticed.

Good couple of nights. Must have been a Carlsberg influence.
Celtic getting dumped out of Champions League. Leeds missing 3 penalties and losing to a team in financial trouble. Rangers lsong 6-0 and finally Man U losing to a 4th tier team.
Nice to revel in it while we can. Just hope it doesn't come back to bite us at the weekend.

Re: TONIGHTS GAMES
Possibly. I think this is probably last chance saloon for Amorim though. Just worry their players suddenly turn up. Anyway, never an easy game at old Trafford whenever you play them.CoolClaret wrote: ↑Wed Aug 27, 2025 10:52 pmGood I think... It'll be a pressure cooker at OT for them. Keep them quiet for 20 minutes and the anxiety will continue to grow...
Re: TONIGHTS GAMES
You may well be right, however, from what I saw yesterday he didn’t look quick at all, the ball seemed to bounce off him and he looked miles off it!
Hopefully this continues this coming weekend……..
