Re: Today's Games
Kane is up front on his own against three centre backs. At Spurs he has Son up there with him. With this defensive team selection nothing is going to change for him. On the plus side we are still playing ok. Will Southgate bring on Grealis and Foden to win the game or wait til we go one down?

Re: Today's Games
Did you leave your score prediction?
Like you care but England have grown into the game , I’d be happy if the play for a free kick plan was changed. Disappointed in Kane but would leave him on for the Sterling / Grealish penalty box dive
Re: Today's Games
Fantastic from Pickford

Great save.
Re: Today's Games
Some right Hooray Henry's in the crowd..
Re: Today's Games
Beckham in the crowd… next to Ed Sheeran. I heard on radio 5 that Beckham and Kane both attended the same school - 2 England captains from there

Re: Today's Games
I think Kane will be coming off here.
Unfortunately it's Rashford and not Calvert-Lewin.

I’ve just said I reckon Beckham thinks he’s sat next to Paul Scholes.

Does anyone else think that watching this current crop of England players is often like watching the clarets?

It’s descended into a Burnley-esque display second half.box_of_frogs wrote: ↑Tue Jun 29, 2021 6:16 pmDoes anyone else think that watching this current crop of England players is often like watching the clarets?

Re: Today's Games
Has Shaw actually played a ball forward?

Re: Today's Games
Will he dare to go with a more attacking option!?Conroysleftfoot wrote: ↑Tue Jun 29, 2021 6:17 pmI don't know what Southgate said at halftime but it's not working.

He rolled the ball forward for the free kick. What more do you want?

Re: Today's Games
I wish Kane had as much of the ball as Matt Hancock's mistress had of his.
Re: Today's Games
Tripps playing poor and him going off won't be a bad thing.

70 minutes and Harry Kane has done nothing.

Chingford Foundation School
Re: Today's Games
This game demonstrates just how much Dyche gets from Cork and Westwood, with two in midfield. I’m not saying they’re better than Phillips and Rice, but they don’t half cover some ground - more so than we’re seeing offensively from the England two today.

Re: Today's Games
Do our players have that part of the brain that tells them how to attack removed when they play for England? They don't look like the same players that play for their club sides.
