Excellent news, hope you all have a good day.

Think you could sell the other 3,790 by Friday evening? ;)

Friendly Imp here not looking for bites..
I think the whole situation has been blown a bit out of proportion.. I think the fact Ipswich were very generous has been a bit of a blow for us.. (I'm not slating that at all!)

Lincoln now have sold out of the 3200 tickets, the remaining 500 that went onto general sale were sold in 3hours..

I really cannot wait for this game, and I hope the atmosphere will be electric from both sets of fans. Its a new ground to tick off for me too, and I'm really looking forward to seeing an old school ground.

Anyway, enough rambling, best of luck after Saturday. May the best team win! :)

Best of luck to you guys as well, interested to see how a non league side very high on morale performs against a team who may not be as 'on it' as for a Premier League game.

Dyche won't let us play at half pace though, be sure of that.

Its certainly going to be exciting. I honestly believe we could get something out of the game. It all depends how you mark Matt Rhead really.. Oldham, Ipswich & Brighton defenders must still be having nightmares..

Got a bit of a soft spot for Dyche also, in my opinion, he's got a great future ahead.

Neither Michael Keane, Ben Mee nor James Tarkowski have ever had a nightmare in their lives.

And they aren't about to start now.

You think you'll get something? - Yep. A bloody good tubbing.

See you there! :D

With players like Rhead it's the positions on the pitch they are able to take up that determines how much damage they will cause, if he is able to attack balls on the penalty spot on a regular basis we are in for a hard time but if the rest of the team are feeding off scraps the quality played into him may not be what you need to cause the necessary damage.

When we were in the lower leagues we thought we had world beaters who could step up the divisions, it's when you get a promotion that you realise their natural levels.

I expect us to start the game fast, whether we can keep up the pace is another question..

All three of Lincoln's goals against Brighton Reserves were absolute gifts.

We're not really into giving gifts away at the Turf.

Could be a cricket score.

Yes, they are, but they don't have an "old school ground".

Last time I went to Lincoln, when they were in Div 3 (the 4th Division) one of the policemen on duty in the away end came and asked me if I knew why Sincil Bank was called "the Moon Ground".

We guessed it was because there were lots of holes in the terracing (there was only one small stand at the time which looks as if it's still there), but he said no, it was because it had no atmosphere.

They do seem to have fixed that, a little bit, at least, in the last 30 years. I was disappointed to see that the flower beds that had daffodils in them next to the dug-outs have gone. That was the sort of thing that you'd see in an I-Spy book worth 25 points.

I keep hearing this "it depends how your centre halves cope with Matt Rhead"

Well here's one for you, it all depends how your centre halves cope with 6ft 3inch Euro 2016 semi finalist Sam Vokes.

We know just how good players coming out of the non-league can be around here.

You may just face two in our forward positions yourselves on Saturday.

Whilst I sense the "If he is so good why does he play for you" Irony in your post, this Mirror article explains it, he only turned pro 4 years ago at the age of 28

We're striving for the right to play Chelsea, Man City,Arsenal and Spurs again next season. That is our priority. Presumably yours is promotion to play Crawley, Stevenage and possibly Mansfield next season. Both clubs have a decent chance. We have a far more important game at Hull next week. Do you know your next important game?

Speak for yourself. Winning the Lincoln game is far more important to me.

Although I want to win both.

The league is a priority, although that doesn't mean this game isn't still important. I desperately want us to win on Saturday & I'm hoping for a pretty much full strength side to be on the field. maybe swap a few lads round for a rest. Tarks, JBG, Voke & Pope all given run outs. Rest of team remains as is.

If we get through (I'd blooming well hope so) then I'd like Dyche to play his strongest side, and not show sentiment.

A quick count on the Burnley website shows around 2,750 tickets still available, mainly in JM stand.

............... adopting a similar pose to that taken by "Bruno" when diving for a penalty v Ipswich in the week.

Anyhow, what we could do without is anything like a repeat of the through-ball that the Lincoln substitute played for the Lincoln winner (also v Ipswich) in the Cup replay. If the guy could do that every week, then he really shouldn't be playing in the conference.

I'm sure they'll be plenty of Imps in the home end. Don't blame them. I sat in the home end at Charlton last season. We had the best view in the house to be fair.

Think only fans with a purchase history could buy tickets for the game to stop Burnley fans going in the home ends.
Alough there were dozens, even in colours sat to the left of the away end, I looked over when we scored and they didn't get chucked out for clapping, in fact they got moved up nearer to our bench and the staff who had sat in the stand behind the dug outs.

They gave Bournemouth 7,000 the year before and there was uproar from the home fans who had to be moved.

I don't think every ticket is available online? I'm pretty sure we keep some back for walk ups who don't want to purchase online, or can't.

I'd imagine we'll have 18,000+ on, which would be a very decent attendance I'd say, considering it's on TV and it's an early kick off. North of 19,000 and I'd consider that to be a fabulous effort. I think the Lincoln fans, when they were hissy fitting over the allocation, were suggesting that we'd only have 13-14,000 on because that's what we had v Bristol City (we had 14,900 with 600 away fans).

Their facilities were different class for disabled fans. Stunning view, entry to prematch bar with food etc. It's still the best we've visited, better than Arsenal, Man City, Man United.

I wouldn't have thought it will sell out for a number of reasons,.... no online sales and only ST' holders being the main ones. We have 3 ST's in there, but there are 6 of us in attendance tomorrow. If we want to sit together, which we do, we have been forced to sit elsewhere

Don't know the answer to your question but even if we haven't why would it be naff? I'm sure the ST holders still in there appreciate it and I think that it would/could have set a precedent if all of them had been moved out!

Nope not sold out and I'd suggest pretty far from it, given that tickets were being handed out by BFC in the community this morning.

This is the type of thing that David Baldwin needs to hear, he may be wondering why the take up hasn't been what they expected, if we are to progress and get a possible home tie in the next round, tweaking the ticket selling in the CFS needs to be looked at.

No reason why fans with a purchase history this season couldn't have bought tickets in the CFS once the tickets went on general sale.
