Point nearer safety. 13th best team in the country. Still the same morons moaning on a Saturday night!

Hull, Swansea, Palace, Leicester and Watford have every chance of overtaking us, we really do need to buck up.Tall Paul wrote:And where would we be with no games to play?

That doesn't answer the question.boatshed bill wrote:Hull, Swansea, Palace, Leicester and Watford have every chance of overtaking us, we really do need to buck up.

Re: Dyche has a big problem.
In wish I knew. I just took it from our last win, we are one from bottom on form in the last 6 games. I do think this is cause for concern.Tall Paul wrote:That doesn't answer the question.
Re: Dyche has a big problem.
I'd be interested to know how Hull have every chance of catching us since they are 8 points behind us, and with a goal difference that CAN'T be improved sufficiently to effectively make it 9 points.boatshed bill wrote:Hull, Swansea, Palace, Leicester and Watford have every chance of overtaking us, we really do need to buck up.

Re: Dyche has a big problem.
Simple, by continuing their current form and then winning two out of their last three, assuming we continue our current form and do not improve.Spijed wrote:I'd be interested to know how Hull have every chance of catching us since they are 8 points behind us, and with a goal difference that CAN'T be improved sufficiently to effectively make it 9 points.

It's only cause for concern if:boatshed bill wrote:In wish I knew. I just took it from our last win, we are one from bottom on form in the last 6 games. I do think this is cause for concern.
- you think that form will continue until the end of the season (it won't, because 5 of our last six have been away from home); and
- that form will see us in the bottom three at the end of the season (I don't think it will, but that was the question I asked)
Re: Dyche has a big problem.
But our current form is unlikely to continue is it considering we are one of the best teams in the PL at home?boatshed bill wrote:Simple, by continuing their current form and then winning two out of their last three, assuming we continue our current form and do not improve.

Re: Dyche has a big problem.
But we've got five games at home. In our last one we played well against the best team in the league. Why on earth is our home form open to question seeing as you think it's a cause for concern?boatshed bill wrote:I really do think it is cause for concern.

Re: Dyche has a big problem.
Most decent pundits have been saying (for a fair while now) that we need to improve our away form because we cannot be sure to sustain our home form for the whole season. Our remaining home games are quite tricky.Spijed wrote:??
But if you want to pin our survival on our home form continuing: first ignore Lincoln and Chelea.

Would that include their fantastic form at Everton today?boatshed bill wrote:Simple, by continuing their current form and then winning two out of their last three, assuming we continue our current form and do not improve.

Re: Dyche has a big problem.
So basically if they continue their current form they won't catch us!?

Whilst I doubt they can catch us, it is still possible.

Re: Dyche has a big problem.
They would have to win 3 on the bounce without us getting another point to go above us. Although with their 'current form' the whole league should be afraid.

All you doom mangers do you think Bournemouth and West Ham are in danger,as they are only a point above us,and if not why not.

Yes. They should be taking their situations seriously. Particularly west HamJimscho wrote:All you doom mangers do you think Bournemouth and West Ham are in danger,as they are only a point above us,and if not why not.

West Ham really? Be interesting to see if a team who sit 12th after current games have ever been relegated!!!
