3m Striker bid
Re: 3m Striker bid
Did we 'dick'' around when we paid nothing to sign Barton and Arfield. Juvenile comments.

The problem is we won't be signing him for a season, more like 3, now that's plain stupid unless Division 1 is our aim.
Re: 3m Striker bid
Yes of course we will be signing him on a 3 year deal at his age. Of course the club is aiming for League One. Deary me.

Did you say Dreary me.
Re: 3m Striker bid
I'd defintiely have him for a couple of seasons, Dyche-type player, in good shape for 33+ and would improve us with his nous alone. Not too fussed about lowball first offer given that he's after a move to get more football, but I'd meet them in the middle and get him in early. I can see him fitting in with our group and being a real asset, knowing what we're about and hitting the ground running. Similar to Barnes but we could have done with 2 Barnes's at times last season. I'd just get this one done, low-risk, no-brainer.

I'm glad I keep you amusedbfc1984 wrote:You are the type of man that makes me laugh! Suggesting we are not in for unknown foreigners instead of proven prem players! With you in charge we would be in serious bother.Think Walters would be a no brainer for a season,he won't excite many but he still has a good season in him I would say.
Re: 3m Striker bid
We are probably looking at him to add experience to the squad. Sounds like he is to replace the role in the team Joey performed.
