Re: Shaquiri £12 million bid from Southampton
We are never going to sign him but , for what it is worth, a Stoke ST-holding very good pal of mine has long disliked "the power-cube" because of his attitude. By this I mean his "I'll play when I feel like it" approach. Of course he has some great quality but I'd take Jay over him all day long in terms of sustaining our progress and Premier League status.

It's hard to listen to your utter bullcrap though, like when you were trying to tell us all how useless Jonny Evans is now you're judging a player after watching him on TV once in a WC game against Brazil.South West Claret. wrote:It’s no good talking to someone who doesn’t listen.

He won't be signing for us.
What was he doing on Brazil's goal......stood watching
Not a Dyche player...simple really
Does his bit then walks

Mirror reporting Shaqiri's representatives have already held talks with Liverpool regarding a move to Anfield.
£13.5 million the figure being mentioned.

Would be absolutely stunned if there was even the slightest bit of truth in this. Surely that is one are where Liverpool don't need anymore players. Also I don't think he would be good enough for them if they are serious about pushing on from this season in both the PL & CL.ElectroClaret wrote:Mirror reporting Shaqiri's representatives have already held talks with Liverpool regarding a move to Anfield.

Re: Shaquiri £12 million bid from Southampton
Fekir and Shakiri don't play in the same position. No reason why a club wouldn't buy both.
Re: Shaquiri £12 million bid from Southampton
The problem is that he is so moronically stupid that he deliberately gets himself booked to put himself at risk of missing a World Cup quarter- or semi-final. It must be a black mark against someone that he would risk letting his team down like that, just to show off his physique and improve his chances of getting a move to Burnley.

Yes because as an ethnic albanian, scoring a 90th minute world cup winner against serbia to pretty much put you through and them out calls for a gentle jog back to the half way line.dsr wrote:The problem is that he is so moronically stupid that he deliberately gets himself booked to put himself at risk of missing a World Cup quarter- or semi-final. Celebrating like that shouldn’t be a yellow but it is and players know it is. So you have to be a bit dumb to do it whatever your thoughts about the opposition.

I dunno. As CC has said, there is a shed load of history there. I'm mildly surprised he didn't rip off his top to reveal a t-shirt on it saying "f**k you serbia" to be honest.

There is a lot of history but still no need to take the shirt off especially in a World Cup where one more booking will put him out of a game.

And even more dumb if the group gets decided by team with fewest yellow cards after points are even. Imagine how upset the whole country will be if they don't go through because of that yellow card.
