The manner of Leeds’ result was perhaps more sickening than the result itself. Had Brighton equalised in injury time I think we’d all have been pretty happy with today’s results.
Agreed. Although I think we now must take a point from Villa or we’re down.
Leeds will beat Brentford last day.

Why will they? Brentford really want to relegate them. And Leeds weren’t great today. Brighton could have scored 5.

Who knows if they will. Agreed that a point is vital on Thursday to keep it in our control though.

If we can keep a clean sheet because we certainly aren’t going to be scoring goals with Barnes up front.
He looked more likely to score than Cornet

Of course they’re not safe. If they win today they probably are, but if they lose they are well in the mix.

Typical Everton get a gift right on HT when they were 2nd best.
However if it's a pen, why is the defender not given a 2nd yellow?

Never a pen, the biased Everton summariser notwithstanding, defender pulls out and brushes Flareisson on his hip. Contact in the box happens all the time when players jump, as that defender did.
Firmly believe this league is heavily biased to the big clubs, the refs know the media want the big clubs and will hammer them for errors costing them. This causes the bias, partly subconscious, partly not.
Three goals in injury time have cost us today, two were wrong decisions.

Everton are only safe if they win today. Lose and they are still in dodgy territory. Palace at home and Arsenal away won't be easy.

Why dont the PL come out and say that certain teams won' be allowed to be relegated and refs are instructed accordingly. If not Oliver should be sacked on the spot for cheating...check his bank account etc.
Not only that the pundits seem to be wetting themselves with excirement that certain teams are going to avoid the drop
