Looking forward to seeing what that little fat lad in the studio has to say about 3-0.

He was confident at H-T that JDT had his tactics right.

If Tella was looking there we had 2 over at the back. 4 would have been great...

But what a game, Clarets! What a game! Great way to leave the league for a few weeks, too.

So pleased for so many but especially for Ashley Barnes.

After the Sheff Utd game the coaches must have worked so hard with the players and it showed, plus our goal difference now better than SHeff Utd

A while since I posted, but only fair I make one now. Fair play to you - no question about which team deserved the win. I would have accepted defeat, but I'm massively disappointed that we simply didn't turn up. Was it one meek shot on target the whole game for us?

Practically speaking, I'm not too disheartened, because we're still much higher than I thought we'd be during our "transition" season, but it was an utterly flat performance, of which we've had a number of in away games this season. I'm not sure any of our players really understood what the derby was about.

Barnes was outstanding, and he clearly knew what today meant. He's a bit of a shithouse and a mean bugger, but that's what you need in this league, as well as a local derby. I think our two Whartons might be having words with Tomasson after today's "effort".

Anyway, since it still doesn't hurt too much after the one that mattered in 2000 ;-) ... All the best, and enjoy your win.

I went for nice walk at HT, so missed the 2nd half, did I miss anything important? :)

Fair play to Barnes that's how you answer your critics in style.

Funny game isn't it last week's 2nd half we were terrible, this week it was a sublime 2nd 45 from what I can tell.

Fair play to you. Actually, fair play to that little lad, Dunn, he spoke sensibly after the match. 3's a charm - I also thought the game was played in a good spirit by both teams.

Easy to praise when we've won, so again, credit it to you for your post. Enjoy your season, it seems much better than I though it would be.
