Some nonsense on here. Tella was a fantastic player for us and offered us something we don’t have. He was clinical when one on one.

It's ok pointing out the way Tella took the ball down for the goal that ONCE but they tried that several times over the season and Tella mis controlled it the majority of the times.
No doubting it was class but he isn't capable of it often.
His goal stats look better due to the flurry of goals he had in that run mid season, looks he was quality for us last season but I just don't think he's worth 15 million and have serious doubts he'd have an impact in the premier league.
No point pointing anything out at the end of the season we had several players missing and also had the team changed regular as the title was wrapped up so the form dipped it didn't dip due to Tella being missing

I don’t know what some fans expect - football just doesn’t work like that… if everything came off all the time we’d win every game 10-0 and all our players would score 30 + goals for the season - we are playing against resisting opponents right?

Every single one of our squad had dry patches infront of goal or a little bit of consistency bad probably Josh Cullen, that’s how it works.

& no, he ran on to countless through balls and bagged - his in behind threat was pivotal to our promotion campaign.

He ran on to his fair share that he missed too don't forget.
Look he was a top player last season but going off his career so far it was a one off and personally from what I saw I don't think he's worth 15 million and I don't think he'd do it in the premier league or improve to a level where he could.
Time will tell if VK goes all out for him then he thinks he's worth it if he doesn't then he doesn't think he's worth it and he saw him daily.
I honestly don't think he'd score 10 goals for saints this season
