PGMOL have clarified that Joelinton wasn’t booked in the first half for dragging someone back because advantage was played. Usual consistent application of the rules!

Saw the tweet from Henry Winter on this earlier who attached the rule wording.

So that confirms that Berge’s first booking was incorrect because advantage was played which means no booking, and Atwell talking to him about it a minute later while play was going on distracted him because he lost focus on picking up Diaby seconds later for the second goal. So it was a double whammy.

Its clearly the type of player he is and hes got away with it in Belgium as one of the star players. He's starting from scratch here and you just dont get away with it in a struggling side in the Premier League. He has to play as a number 10 for us unless we are chasing the game, otherwise his pros dont outway the cons.
I’m still waiting for a moment that is wow that was good. Hopefully somebody gives him a rocket up his arse in training over the next few days!

I’d love to see Roy Keane have a go at some of these fancy dans we seen to have in the squad 😂 especially the powder puff centre mids.

Roy Keane shouting at people certainly worked for him as a manager

I was more thinking in a studio setting, but would also be fun telling them down Gawthorpe some home truths.

Sounds like he is fairly motivating given how MO’N talks about him.

I always find it strange how Keane's management career is perceived. He did fantastically at Sunderland and then was bang average at Ipswich but don't think he was ever at risk of taking them down. There's managers that have done much worse but continue to get regular jobs.
He seems to have mellowed in recent times as well so itd be interesting to see how he'd get on these days.

There was a real risk of him taking Ipswich down I think.

They were near the bottom on a terrible run when he was potted.

Poor runs can be overturned Christ knows we are hoping for 1. Judging somebody on what could have happened might not accurately match in reality with would have happened. The same you could apply to dyche really when things were looking sh1tshaped he dug everton out of a bigger hole by the skin of their teeth.

Suppose it depends on people understanding what the word ‘risk’ means.

Is it risky to suggest that word doesn't mean certain.
