The Tartan Army
Re: The Tartan Army
You can tell that the Scottish management team have made the whole Scotland squad watch videos on loop of English fans laughing at their performance against Germany. They are well up for this one.

Likewise, but I only lived there for a year. A bold point but any dislike that English fans (who haven’t lived there) have has come from the Scot’s hate of the English.Oshkoshclaret wrote: ↑Sun Jun 16, 2024 2:49 amUruguay has 50% less population than Scotland but they've achieved far more in footballing terms.
I never had a beef with the jocks and would root for them in World Cups etc. But I changed my mind after living there for 7 years. Yesterday's result really brightened up my whole weekend.
Pre-living in Scotland I would support any of the British teams and Ireland in international football. I still manage to support Wales, ROI and England. (Lived in England for - long time but originally from Northern Ireland)

Re: The Tartan Army
Like i said we got dogs abuse in Glasgow when Ireland played them .
Anyway it was a euro qualifier and they were beaten and out before the last game we were off to on our last game with Ireland play away at the same time and saw a group of them in Stanstead airport I was all in green and sat down next to them and said " going anywhere nice on holiday lads " they all just got up and walked away .

The TA have become the focus of the Euros. They are everyone's fave fan group and made Scotland the 2nd team of others, particularly the Germans.
No matter what happens to the football team, the fans have made the Euros a success for Germany.
Well done them.
No Scotland No party!
