Re: New Ticket Scheme
Just a thought and playing Devils Advocate but aren’t people looking at this the wrong way
The points is now based on the last 5yrs so could it be that rather than “removing” the points pre 2019/20 and simply added up the points earned over the last 5years?

Re: New Ticket Scheme
Not sure why they would do it that way rather than just remove the 2018/19 points total? But even if they had, it would probably mean that everyone's previous points total was incorrect!wilks_bfc wrote: ↑Wed Jul 10, 2024 6:30 amJust a thought and playing Devils Advocate but aren’t people looking at this the wrong way

5 season tickets = 1750
If you said on average over last 5 season 20 away games plus cup ties per season all those extras are worth 140 points. No matter which way you add the points up it seems the vast majority who I have spoke to are all way off the points they should have to the points they now have

Not sure why we don't any more but other clubs publish prices for home games.Quickenthetempo wrote: ↑Tue Jul 09, 2024 6:54 pmCan any platinum members post this seasons matchday ticket prices.
Re: New Ticket Scheme
Isn't one of those years COVID though so only 4 season tickets and 4 seasons of away games? Four seasons of the above seems pretty near your total.claretonthecoast1882 wrote: ↑Wed Jul 10, 2024 8:23 amI now have 1890 points

I have no idea how they are working it out and when asking them you are left no clearer.
At the end of last season I had 2500 then they wiped off 960 for the season that has now expired before adding 350 for this years season ticket.
Not sure how it is possible to get to 960 points for the covid season

Last week they took around 900 points off me and have reinstated around 500 this week without me contacting them.claretonthecoast1882 wrote: ↑Wed Jul 10, 2024 8:23 amI now have 1890 points

Looks like they are just working their way through accounts to rectify.

They keep trying to hide how expensive our matchday prices have got.

Re: New Ticket Scheme
As referred further up the thread, there's an issue with the calculations in the switch to Ticketmaster and it's been worked on. The points totals will then be adjusted.claretonthecoast1882 wrote: ↑Wed Jul 10, 2024 9:22 amI have no idea how they are working it out and when asking them you are left no clearer.

I know this is probably just my way of thinking but if I was migrating part of the company to a new system I would rather have it all done correctly before doing so to save me extra work once movedClaretTony wrote: ↑Wed Jul 10, 2024 9:43 amAs referred further up the thread, there's an issue with the calculations in the switch to Ticketmaster and it's been worked on. Now today it allows me to search for family and friends, however when I put in the surname and clarets number in and press seat it just goes blank. I’ve tried with all the numbers I had on my previous family and friends and no joy on any.ClaretTony wrote: ↑Tue Jul 09, 2024 6:31 pmHave you clicked on add members to get the screen that asks for membership number AND surname? That works for me.
All very worrying for getting tickets for away matches.

Re: New Ticket Scheme
Oh it gets better.
I have used my wife’s I pad, it’s newer than my phone and I pad. It let me log on, it let me search and after about 4 different searches it finds my brother and allows me to add him. So I searched for his daughter, it didn’t find her. I then searched for my son it didn’t find him so I went back to my niece yay it found her so I added her. Then I logged out and back in again searched for my son it found him so I added him.
I then, knowing I’d added 3 family members, logged in on my phone.
Guess what. Non of them are on my account.
Oh and don’t get me started on the loyalty points they are all way out.

Do you get this option? When I use this it allows me to find someone who I can then add.Vince Fontaine wrote: ↑Thu Jul 11, 2024 11:24 amNow today it allows me to search for family and friends, however when I put in the surname and clarets number in and press seat it just goes blank. Its in their interest to make it as complicated as possible so no-one can complain they're on the wrong points.

Re: New Ticket Scheme
Cheers Tony,
Yes I got that screen but it kept telling me that it couldn’t find them. I’ve now managed to sort it. When I tried again to log in on my I pad a screen came up saying I needed JavaScript?? Anyway I googled it and followed the instructions to update google and therefore JavaScript. It worked and all is good on my phone and iPad.
Only thing to sort now are the loyalty points which are all wrong!!

Re: New Ticket Scheme
Here’s one for the loyalty points people
At the end of last season I had 2440 loyalty points (that doesn’t include my season ticket for next season). In the 2019/2020 season I bought 8 away/cup matches including Man City away.
I now have only 2080 points including my season ticket for next season. So that’s 360 points taken off when only 80 should have. Also there are 350 from my season ticket this year that are missing. Or 710 taken off when only 80 should have. Everyone I have spoken to about this is in the same boat.

Same here, 2750 now which feels about what it should be. Probably wont matter though as suspect top tier will be 2,000 for every game.ClaretTony wrote: ↑Fri Jul 12, 2024 9:02 amMy loyalty points have gone up 160 this morning, still too many taken off but at least it's closer.

Mine's gone up overnight from 1990 to 2030, which, considering the 2000 tier, is extremely useful.

Mines gone up by 40 too. I wonder if they originally gave us 10 for Olympiakos at home before it’s been pointed out that we got 50 for that.
