I think we may be watching Parker’s last Burnley game or at least very close to his last. Unless of course by some miracle we score

Vigoroux drops it and it’s a Swansea free kick? No foul, typical shite.

Re: Burnley v Swansea MATCH Thread
what does flemming have to do to play in his actual position
Re: Burnley v Swansea MATCH Thread
I'll tell you what, from what I've seen so far today Vigoroux can can't himself very unlucky to not have had a sniff in his time with us.
Not had much to do but he's been very sensible, confident and his distribution has been excellent. Somewhere in the middle of Muric and Trafford.

This is the most mediocre line up of Burnley players I can remember in years. We've gone so far backwards so quickly.

The referee is a joke, again.
I hope the Sarmiento change wasn’t tactical because he’s looked like the only forward player with any remote threat, today.

Re: Burnley v Swansea MATCH Thread
So are we trying to win the game by playing Hannibal in the number 10 role and Jay up front?
Why can't we play 2 strikers?
Why can't we play 2 strikers?
Re: Burnley v Swansea MATCH Thread
Resigned apathy from the crowd.
Re: Burnley v Swansea MATCH Thread
I'm more concerned now that in trying to actually win this we are far more likely to concede. Sad that I'm now thinking I hope we get a point going into the break...
We can't possibly pot Parker yet and I have sympathy with him but he's got to make something happen. The crowd has clearly turned today.

If Pace has any cojones then yes I do. I like Parker but he has no clue as a manager. Just watch Mike Jackson’s face in the dug out. He is in utter despair
Re: Burnley v Swansea MATCH Thread
How has that not gone in?
Re: Burnley v Swansea MATCH Thread
In fairness that's magnificent from Vigoroux

However poor we've been this 2nd half, we are not getting any luck in front of goal.

How is that not a red card?
Both teams should be down to 10 - with both Cullen’s being the offenders - ref has been garbage.

If Parker is happy with this formation and performance then I’m not happy with Parker.

Brownhill chastised by most of the crowd for his 100th back pass of the game.

Re: Burnley v Swansea MATCH Thread
It's very different than Dyche, or Kompany (in the Championship at least).
In games like this under Dyche there was a frantic attempt at getting it up the pitch and trying make something happen.
In Kompany's Championship season it always felt that we had the quality to make a bit of magic happen.
Not so much at the minute.
A centre forward would help.
