No time for sentiment in football I'm afraid, if we want to become a PL club we need a manager (potentially) capable at PL level which we clearly haven't got.
My choice:

Paolo Di Canio, Paolo wouldn't stand for this car crash, fantastic at Swindon and did very well at Sunderland keeping them up from a very difficult situation. A man who demands respect and was wrongly sacked.

Other possibilities: Steve Bruce, David Wagner, Alex Neil.

Not a list of superstars but Di Canio and Bruce have both kept sides up. Wagner is unproven so who knows if he's good enough. Neil done very well with Norwich, relegated yes but incredibly close and Im sure he'll learn from that
Bruce - not done much at Villa, Norwich fired Alex Neil.
Wagner is the only one who did well.

I've no idea where Paolo is...

I was looking for something else and stumbled across some of your daft threads.

Always amuses me when you mention my attendance record, usually because you're about to get your arse handed to you in a discussion.

Me bumping this thread and your comment proves my point really.

I cant have a discussion about Burnley with someone who doesn't watch games, sorry.
I agree, you going through the effort of scrolling back to bump posts from 6 months ago does say it all about you.

You can't have a discussion with people who do watch games, usually because you're stamping your feet looking like a bell end, crying about what Dyche has done.
