The saddest thing about all this is that we've got ourselves into a situation where it's acceptable for grown adults to say things like "Brexiteers" and "Remainers" as if they're types of Pokémon.

See the personal attacks on Farron are in full swing.

Got to keep off policies will be the message from Murdoch to his masses, stick to smears

Not. A. Scooby.

No one is being undemocratic, not May, not Farron, not Corybn, not even the guy who runs UKIP. I do wish you'd grasp this concept.
I understand exactly how democracy works fella.

That's why I agree with and independent Scotland IF it votes for independence. I'm consistent and democratic unlike many Remoaners who DON'T agree with Scottish Independence.

Address my point about the contract we had that stated the GOVERNMENT will carry out our wishes.

Also when you have the likes of the war criminal Tony Bliar, already conniving to build a movement to try and reverse the referendum result in the forthcoming GE, as a Remoaner, you have to accept you on the side of the dark forces of anti democracy.

Where is the £350 million that was promised for the NHS by Farage, Boris & co.?

It was plastered all over the side of a bus, and was one of the most iconic images of the campaign. Whether or not Farage actually ever used those words I can't be bothered to research, but he was certainly more than happy to stand in front of the slogan and endorse it.
Spijed refered to "Farage, Boris and Co". he didn't specifically attribute the slogan to Farage. I'm not sure who on the "leave" campaign actually came up with it.
Much has been made of Osborne's "emergency budget".
But this was one person's opinion and was never particularly endorsed by the Remain" campaign or adopted as a campaign slogan.

EDIT: Here you go. It didn't actually take hardly any finding:

http://www.independent.co.uk/news/uk/po ... 02831.html

HEADLINE :Video evidence has emerged of Nigel Farage saying EU cash should be spent on the National Health Service after Brexit.

The Ukip leader on Friday morning denied having endorsed a pledge to spend Britain’s EU contribution on the NHS just hours after the referendum results came in. ....................
.........However footage from BBC Question Time on 9 June – just weeks before the referendum – shows the Ukip leader claiming the available cash was higher than £350 million and saying money should be spent on hospitals and GPs.

“Can we just get to the truth of this - £350 million a week is wrong, it’s higher than that,” he told the programme’s audience.

If you open the link you can even watch the video.

Thats a no then.

Tony Bliar, the war criminal and former labour party leader is openly espousing that people vote for whichever party has more chance of overturning the referendum result. Even if it means voting against his OWN party!

May be not shakespearian. But certainly Machiavellian.

And by the way, I'm playing with a full deck mate. Perhaps it's you that's the joker?!

Nice attempt at a swerve. One more try.

The 9million pamphlet that went to every household.

Come on you remember. It stated -"This is your decision. The government will implement what you decide."

The referendum gave them a democratic mandate to carry out the process WITHOUT reference to parliament.

And I know very recently you stated you'd continue your fight against the result. But come on. argue against it if you like. But you'll be arguing against democracy.

You know like I do the likes of Starmer, Benn , Clegg Farron, Gina miller, Clarke and Bliar are all you cheer leaders and want stop democracy by pushing for the trip wire that is a vote on any deal achieved.

The contract said GOVERNMENT not PARLIAMENT.

One more try Lancs. Go on tiger give it your undemocratic best!

Grrrrrr!

One thing this election will not do is "unite the country".

That will only happen if May manages to steer away from a Hard Brexit into something that the 48% can live with.

Of course, that might not suit large chunks of the 52%, but we will see!

I see Ken Clarke is standing again.

This shows the hypocrisy of the Conservatives. He's a staunch remainer yet why hasn't he been kicked out of the party?

According to Teresa May everyone should now get behind brexit so why doesn't she just expel him?

Double standards at its very best!

With a decent majority she has more chance of a 'softer Brexit', whatever that is though....

I'm not sure what would unite the country, but I know it's not Remainers in the Commons or Lords trying to halt any sort of Brexit. I don't think May had a lot of choice when trying to instil the will of the people.

Her latest publicity hungry hissy fit proves all along that she's motivated, not by ensuring democracy and fair scrutiny and parliamentary process.

Purely preserving her privilege and kept in clover lifestyle.

This is smug foreign born millionairess oozes entitlement. She's just another of a long line of lying Remoaners.

She should stand for election.

Her campaign slogan could be "Vote for Gina" But say it quick enough it's sounds like "Vote Vagina" which is what you'd be voting for!!
