That was exactly why Barnes was selected ahead of Jay.
Can we dare to call it a stroke of genius from SD?

God our crossing has become so bloody awful and even Taylor's assist was a rubbish one, but hey ,well done Ash!! But I think we'll need at least one more goal. They are a bit good this lot! (And that's because they cost a fortune!)

Re: Burnley v Wolves - Matchday Thread
So far so good, halfway to a big 3 points, a 2nd goal would be nice though.
Big goal for Barnes, nice to see him answering his critics in style.
More of the same in the 2nd half lads please.

Re: Burnley v Wolves - Matchday Thread
Hopefully we’ll go at them from the start of second half
Would be good to win by scoring more than one goal

Same Frank!! I don't drink much at home, only in the pub on match days normally, but I've had no tea and I'm on my fourth beer and it's only bloody half time!!FactualFrank wrote: ↑Mon Dec 21, 2020 6:29 pmI've seen a few complaints from me down the hours.

Re: Burnley v Wolves - Matchday Thread
I thought it was the perfect ball. Exactly the kind of ball easy to attack at the far post. Took every wolf out of play. Timed to perfection.Dark Cloud wrote: ↑Mon Dec 21, 2020 6:22 pmGod our crossing has become so bloody awful and even Taylor's assist was a rubbish one, but hey ,well done Ash!! Shame that Mee flicked our freekick on because Wood was going to strike it.
Common Burnley let's win this!
