What a turnaround in this half. Why haven’t we done this for the past 12-18 months
Yes whatever the outcome this 2nd half has to be the standard for the rest of the season, though where it's stemmed from has me baffled.

Weghorst done very well since we actually managed to get him into the game. It's all died off a bit now, but the signs are the most promising they have been for a while for us.

So you think being a second behind everyone else is acceptable?

You think not being able to do basics in the Premier League is ok?

Just watching the replay of jay's goal and that little turn by WW completely takes out two United players, that was class and lay it on for jay, who did superb with the finish.

I actually think Brownhill has been one of the big plusses tonight when you compare our last two centre mid pairings

Well, what a second half. Undoubtedly our best half of the season, and what we all know we are capable of. Grit, determination, winning 50-50s with a bit of quality here and there. A shame Newcastle won, but definitely something to build on. Some good performances, but I do like the look of WW. Led the line well, grew into the game and showing far more class on the ball than Wood managed. Helps us up the pitch and will notch given service.

Second Behind a muti million pound institution like Man U isn't anything I think possible.

Great second half, WW was very good. Brownhill was everywhere too but as always he has a tendency to lack that extra quality on the ball. Hope Cornet isn’t injured and it’s just stiffness…

That 2nd half gives us genuine hope that we can yet escape, a huge turnaround and we definitely deserved the point over the 90.

Unbeaten in 6 home PL games now.

Three points against Arsenal, Watford and Man U were probably all I could have hoped for, so onwards and upwards, we're the unflushable turd that just won't go away, let's drag some teams in this fight with us!!

& winless in that home apart, draws are all good & well but won’t save us the gap I thinks increased with Newcastle winning.

Yes that's the frustration, we've been competitive in every game, but we can't quite edge those victories.

11 draws in 20 games shows that we can compete, unfortunately we've generally reserved our best performances for the bigger teams, and if we could only have shown those levels in the Leeds and Newcastle matches we'd quite possibly be out of the relegation zone.

Nothing we can do about other sides winning, and that Newcastle victory might pull Everton into trouble, so it's not all doom and gloom.

We say the same thing week in & week out but when you look at the league table nothing ever changes, we might see Everton edging closer as a positive but I don’t think there’s any chance of Everton getting relegated same as Newcastle, draws just aren’t enough plain & simple,
