Great ball from JB
Re: Man Utd v Burnley match thread
Sadly, we are simply not used to playing against players with the pace and power of Rashford.
I suspect this is why many of us prefer the Championship to the prem because there are too many games at that level which are essentially ‘dead rubbers’ so to speak.

I do enjoy an occasional visit from the grammar police. But I’d rather Churlinov popped that in the back of the net.

Losing away to Man Utd and people on here are furious
Re: Man Utd v Burnley match thread
It's almost like we're playing away at Old Trafford against a side with Rashford, Fernandes and Eriksen. You're a negative fkn idiot thotarkys_ears wrote: ↑Wed Dec 21, 2022 9:25 pmNegative **** play from all involved.
It's almost as if the Dyche aura from sitting in the studio with the douchebag Neville is having its usual effect on proceedings.

We're creating good chances though. The time to worry is when you're not creating anything.

two massive chances. Gutted not to get back into it. Keep plugging away Clarets.

I suppose it's always easier for the ill-informed, low achieving fan to point out why we should be losing (usually the other teams money) Vs as actual thought out point of what we should be doing to win?
**** me it's as if the man utd game in 2010 never happened... And every subsequent win since then since we've been pretty much ******* broke compared to nearly every team we've played since our PL days....

We've had our chances to get back into this game, but if you don't take them at this level...you lose.
Brave effort but the gulf in class in very much apparent.

Not to even get one of them on target is pretty poor. Shame as it would have put them under some pressureIt Is What It Is wrote: ↑Wed Dec 21, 2022 9:31 pmWe've had our chances to get back into this game, but if you don't take them at this level...you lose.

If you're expecting a Championship club to go away to Old Trafford against the likes of Fernandez, Casemiro, Eriksen, Rashford etc and win, you're an absolute idiot.tarkys_ears wrote: ↑Wed Dec 21, 2022 9:31 pmI suppose it's always easier for the ill-informed, low achieving fan to point out why we should be losing (usually the other teams money) Vs as actual thought out point of what we should be doing to win?

It’s interesting that all Utd’s best moves have been on the counter attack with utd the home side

Tella, Zaroury…
Maatsen has matched Rashford for pace. Roberts done quite well too v Garnacho.

Re: Man Utd v Burnley match thread
I know their team is worth about a billion.
I’m just saying that to stay out of the bottom three if/when we go up.
We need a midfielder that doesn’t keep giving the ball away for a start. Seems he has a free pass for that

Re: Man Utd v Burnley match thread
You really are very funny, even funnier is you don’t know why. I would say its easier for those who don’t understand the intricacies of the game to resort your repartee. But hey ho . We all have an opinion only difference is the degree to which the opinion is informed , rational, thoughtful. I see no reason why you cant aspire to that how ever many years it may take…tarkys_ears wrote: ↑Wed Dec 21, 2022 9:31 pmI suppose it's always easier for the ill-informed, low achieving fan to point out why we should be losing (usually the other teams money) Vs as actual thought out point of what we should be doing to win?
