Why do folk revel in it when we make a mistake and immediately attack that player, apart from the obvious agenda driven posts.

If anything, we are going to concede by our own mistakes
These are there for the taking if we get a couple of decent chances

Don't get why O'Shea is getting so much stick, he's having to do Vitinho's job as well as his own.

Spurs are looking nothing special tonight. You'd think Zaroury would be all a team for the taking.

Sorry ,excellent player but drifts in and out a lot,and as we’ve seen in the last 5 mins there all a bit lightweight apart from Charlie and Foster.

It's a game of football being played on a slippy, greasy pitch. Mistakes will happen.

For all the criticism Zaroury is receiving, he’s created the best chance of the half (a sitter, arguably) for either side.

Was this pre or post him getting Spuds on the front foot with the Blackpool esque pass or the looping throw to their Winger?

Muric very good in the first 10 mins but showed exactly his liabilities in the following 10.
Just a bit of ring rust.

A lot of good stuff either side of that - including some good saves and high claims.

Again if we want to play out he’s the man. If we want a more traditional approach then maybe not.

Foster's not had a great game so far, sloppily dispossessed on the rare moments he gets on the ball

There’s a good player in there - he’s often guilty of over playing or picking the wrong option, but I wouldn’t be so quick to write him off.

Muric coming out to claim a cross on the penalty spot. Trafford would have been cowering on his line.

We have a lot of young players and they are learning as vinny is often at pains to point out , screaming out for an experienced head though on the field.. hopefully they can learn from this half and apply a bit m ore composure second

Watching this game I can’t help but think that Spurs are really missing Son’s influence and they could well struggle to unlock teams while he is away.
That’s taking nothing away from our performance and there is plenty of honest endeavour and effort.

I think we’ve played well and competed at a good level - should I be surprised that the consensus on here is mostly negative though having had a quick scroll? Probably not.

Great half. Neither side in full flow but we are limiting them and I think with a full team we’d have more control. Still in the cup at HT thats for sure.

We’ve done alright there overall but they are murdering us down our right side, although Vitinho did put in a good tackle just before the whistle blew.

We’ve had the best chance by a country mile. They’ve been very ineffective, their best chances coming from 2 mistakes by us. No change there then.

Must admit when I saw our central midfield pairing I thought Spurs would be out of sight by halftime but we have done pretty well so far.
