Think he'll be a good buy for Swansea. Maybe overpriced and I'll probably get stick for saying this but IMO he'd have been a better option than Brady.

The club did get involved in a bidding war. Swansea would have bought him anyway and Hull would have sold like they have with other players.

We have probably led to Swansea paying £5m more than they would, which in turn may mean they are weaker over the season than they could have been by them not buying an additional player with that £5m.

Canny work by the club. If we get him, great. If we don't, we have affected our rivals anyway.

Not proven in the PL league though. How many Spanish players have come over here and failed miserably? Borja Baston, Joselu, Aspas, Granero, Xisco etc. You know what you're getting with Clucas. I rate him.

Clucas might have been a good addition but surely not worth 16.5m if that's what
Swansea have paid.
In most cases we can't really compete with any other Premiership team
if they happen to be keen on the same player as we are.

So not holding out much hope on the other players mentioned that we are interested in
as most of them seem to have more than just us interested in them.
