These December games are going to be brutal without Brady as Arfield offers absolutely nothing.

Completely outplayed since Brady went off. Lets hope it isnt too serious or our failing to buy a 3rd winger capable of challenging JBG and Brady in the team might come back to bite us

Can`t win `em all! Baffled by the Defour substitution but let`s just hope Brady is OK. Keep going Mighty Clarets!!!!!

Once Brady went off our performance echoed the that of last season. Hard work and some decent spells but no cutting edge. Arfield very poor when he came on. In the end we could only muster some half chances and they fashioned 2/3 really good chances. 1-0 a fair result.

That poor early goal ruined it for us.
I'd have liked to have seen that match with them forced to come out a bit more but in the end they deserved it.

Onwards and upwards. Watford next, COYC

Oh well. Game fizzled out for us after Brady went off. Think it took the steam out of the lads. That said it was a poor goal but after we never really looked massively under pressure albeit we never looked like scoring. Today was crying out for pace up front with those two big lumps at the back. Hope Brady is ok.

We move on.

If hes going with 2 up top Defour will always be the one hooked as he's nowhere near as effective in a midfield 2.

Disappointing we havent done more with our chances today but theyve had a few in rhe 2nd half as we pushed forward more.

Don't think we deserved to lose today

I would have taken 3 draws at the start of the last weekend and we have come away with 3 points. Been robbed against Arsenal, dominated Bournemouth and have given as good as we got against Leicester.

Brady going off has shown we must upgrade Scotty Arfield who looked all but lost today, the game sadly passed him by.

Pleased for Nick Pope who more than redeemed for his mistake with a string of quality saves to keep us in it.

A good performance- by far the better team first half and were well in it in the second. Sloppy for their goal though. Lost a lot when Brady went off. Yes they got chances when we took Defour off but we went for it at least - and knew we’d be leaving ourselves open to the counter.

Mee was hobbling a bit at the end which is a bit worrying and we’ve got to hope Brady is a minor one as there’s a big drop in quality to Scotty

I think that's the biggest thing I took from today too unfortunately

Disappointed the ref didn't find a way to give the top 6 (at the time) team a deserved penalty or two.

I was expecting about 7 or 8 minutes injury time...I take it there wasn't too much of a hold up when Brady was stretchered off..?

What about switching Hendrick and Arfield (apparently Arfield played well just behind the lone striker.
Not sure how Hendrick would fair on the wing.

Or 3-5-2 (Long good enough?)

Taylor and Ward on the left in a 4-5-1

Losing 1-0 away in the prem is no disgrace. Only the second away defeat this season along with Man City.

It's the Brady injury that's the biggest concern. Hopefully it's only bruising but worse wouldn't surprise me.

One of the things to consider this week is the fact that Leicester played on Friday, Tuesday and Saturday whilst we played on Sunday, Wednesday and Saturday.
That, added to the injury to Brady which had an undoubted effect and a 1-0 defeat away from home is not a disaster.

For nearly all of last season we would have lost this game by 2 or 3 goals having gone one down so early on. It just shows how much we have progressed that we are actually disappointed by a narrow 1-0 defeat. We are still having a tremendous season.
