All over but a supercmatch and one where we really had Pep rattled for an hour. 4 strikers meant we could always leak more. Great stuff and Madge has turned out to celebrate our performance.
Cheers all.

Nowhere near as bad as people would believe judging by comments on UTC. I'm not that concerned about signing another CB this January.

I don't think you can judge anything on one game, especially one against City this season.
'Believing' Heaton would have done better is a non-argument.

Great first half, only served to rattle their cage though.

Have a good weekend everyone.

We mentally switched off after their `controversial` equaliser but they were and are a superb team. Magnificent first half though. Pointless criticising individuals (want to but won`t). Good night one and all.

Not judging on one game, there have been similar errors since he came into the team - it is mainly about experience - and Heaton has it (been playing a lot longer) not even having a go just trying to offer a bit of perspective to counteract the repeated arguments for Pope over Heaton.

Hope SD doesn't complain about the free kick, but I'm sure he will.

Not so much about the quality of goalkeeping but more a fact that we had/have little chance when chasing a game, particularly against such fantastic players.
I do hope we can add a bit of quality in this window or the 2nd half of the season may be very disappointing compared to the 1st

Oh he will, and he will then talk about the sheer size of their squad and how they can afford to play a team packed full of internationals etc etc and how poor little old Burnley are struggling within our 'framework', and how we are punching above our weight, etc etc repeat ad infinitum until the end of the season.

I thought it was a really good game with both manager's selecting a strong side. 1st half Burnley defended really well, and closed all our attacks down, although I thought City were playing quite well. 2nd half opened up as the space grew, and City took advantage.

I thought sane was our cutting edge, although he didn't really have a good game with some poor crosses when well placed, but he did do it in the end.
