Re: Season tickets 2023/24
I took like they got to the end of office hours and took stock. Those left not great seats. 5% needed for walk ons, including the posh seats and the hospitality.
Any of those seats would wish to be swapped, so keep them for the 5%.
When the current ST holders retain or release their seat, then they will have a number to include in the 5%..
The swaps xan take place but that still keeps the released number of seats available.
Then have we got 5% available to comply? If not is it too few or too many?
Too few - good trail of traying to achieve the 5%. If too many, then release better seats to w/l folk.
Never happened before in this all seater, so must be 18000 seats sold before we start???

Is there a list of season tickets sold in the PL, season by season?

Claretforever might have a list but other than that it's a case of trawling the net looking for articles prior to a season commencing.

Re: Season tickets 2023/24
I'm not sure of the figures quoted on here (5%) but I do remember it being said that in 2009 we initially capped season ticket sales at 15,000 but raised that to a maximum of 16,500.
It was said that we had to leave 3,000 tickets for walk ups and we then restricted away supporters to 2,400, that gave us a capacity of approximately 21,900.
Obviously 3,000 is a lot more than 5% of the capacity, not saying that the amounts can't have changed in the past fourteen years though.

Quite a lot as we have sold 15,000 season tickets, assumed it was more.Colburn_Claret wrote: ↑Tue Feb 21, 2023 5:45 pmI don't want to trawl through the thread, can somebody say how many walk ons that leaves us with for home matches?

Re: Season tickets 2023/24
That’s quite a disappointing number, thought it would be much higher to be honest, given it’s similar to this year.
Hopefully just a lot of annual payers waiting until pay day!

Re: Season tickets 2023/24
From a business point of view it makes sense to have unsold season tickets as walk-on supporters pay more per seat.
Shouldn't affect the gates in anyway.

Re: Season tickets 2023/24
we only have about 3,500 more home seats spare so when you account for what needs to be reserved for walk one/individual matches we may only be able to sell 1500-2000 more season tickets most of which I am sure will be taken up after the renewal period if not before.
