Somebody mentioned Andy Walker earlier, I thought Davie Provan, it's that soft Glasgow accent. Whichever I get them regularly on streams and have no problem with either. Both honest, knowledgeable and impartial for me.

Proud of every player today. Our passing let us down at times but the commitment and the shape were perfect. Well done SP, every time they cross the white line they play for this man.
Nobody less than a 7 and many of them more. Bonus was a clean sheet for Dubravka.

I'd have taken a point, simply because I think it will take 4 or 5 games for SP to work out his best team, and another couple for them to gain that understanding.

Lucky to be level at half time, but the 2nd half was different gravy. We'll not meet many worse teams than Sunderland but great to get those first 3 points. Thought Ekdal was superb today & the new lad Tchouma looks a real prospect.

Sunderland should of been down to 10 men for adingras slap to Hannibal.

What I can’t understand is how the ref can book him, what’s he booking him for, if he’s raised his arm it’s a red card.

Put it this way, if the ref gives fosters goal then VAR doesn’t disallow it. Thankfully didn’t cost us.

Just reading the Sunderland forum, they just seem to think they would win easily today. We finished so far ahead of them last season, I don't get why they thought it would be an easy 3 points for them, they all seem certain we will finished bottom.

Agreed about Foster. Some on here have a dislike of some players and cannot accept a really good performance
