Is anyone else finding the term "Bazball" a bit cringey?

Proper annoying isn’t it. I’m sure I read McCullum himself doesn’t like it.

Unless Stokes gets a big score the Aussies are going to go 1up in the series.

Jason Gillespie is adamant we are declaring around the 250 mark

275 + has to be the target for us to have a chance now I’d think.

Can't work out why we're giving wickets away like toffee, I'm baffled, a win had gone at 4 down so from there imo you set up not to lose, it's committing hari kari almost giving the aussies a 1-0 lead, will be hard to pull back, we're never going to win 3 matches if they go 1 up and I feel that's what we'll need to do.

It's been a decent game but declaring on day one with Root still there and hitting boundaries i still think was a big mistake.

According to the skipper, the result comes secondary to entering. I hope he doesn't really believe that.

250-60 will be dead 50/50 imo

Not into the premeditated sweeps to Lyon btw,

Love the aggression in going hard at it and being innovative with the field but there’s a fine line between that and just chucking your wicket away

That funky first innings declaration is looking rather reckless now. With Root in full flow and two wickets in hand and the Aussie’s tongue hanging out another 50 runs were potentially available. That 50 runs is looking a very forlorn hope at the moment with only Jimmy to bat.

Stokes wouldn't have you lot anywhere near the England camp with all your negativity.

The Aussies will have to bat superbly to get these.

If they bat as slow as the first innings they will need 100 overs.

That’s spot on. This is how we play and we have to get used to it. I like it. Ive Even got used to Muric playing it out.

This is set to be v interesting.
Which will come out on top?
England's revolutionary "Bazball" or Aussie's traditional grit and grind.
I think it will be tight but if Australia bat as determinedly as in the first innings then they should get home late in the day tomorrow.
I see that the computer makes it 56% Australia win and England 43%. That seems about right to me.

I’d think that 56/43 is about right. Atherton has just said he feels it should be the other way round.

Theres a reason historically chasing in the 4th innings is very difficult.

For the TV viewers, you really don't see the wear and tear on a pitch and what effect that can have when you're trying to bat on it.

I think if we bowl well and take our chances we win by 30 plus runs.

How on earth has a ball gone between keeper & first slip without either moving? Keeper should be getting that.
