Wow Boysie you need to let it go not my concern but you are letting your self down with this petty agenda against CT. You don’t believe he is in the know he tells us he isn’t as well so you are in agreement😉. I believe him like I believe others as I can’t think of a genuine adult reason why you would lie about knowing things, but I take everything said on Twitter or on here with a pinch of salt until something official is said. You are entitled to not believe him that is fine but at least be a bit more mature about how you disagree or just ignore so others who want to read his bits of information can.

I've no idea if this is of any significance but I saw our club photographer driving up the road away from Gawthorpe this evening around 6.30pm. There's obviously plenty of things he could have been at the training ground for but here's hoping it was the media pics for Vincent.

Also looks like the issue was not VK's work permit but getting coaches out of Anderlecht (and their work permits).

Will be great to finally feel we can crack on with things when it's announced.

If it has been as 'done' as some have said though, I am sure he has been working on transfers in this quiet period to whatever extent he was permitted.

I pointed out a reliable Belgian news source had confirmed that Kompany had talks with Nice.

Until he signs on the dotted line, I will remain concerned.

Also, that Burnley Express article says it could be announced as early as NEXT WEEK. So it isn't sorted yet.

Interesting how you interpret different articles.

I’d suggest that the article is saying the delays were around work permits for his team and now that’s pretty much resolved. You don’t apply for a work permit on an off chance that person might come and work for you. You apply because they are coming to work for you.

It’s also interesting that Chris Boden has gone from a position of “it’s radio silence from the club” to all of a sudden knowing who’s cleaning the boots! That tells me he’s had a full update probably because the club are aware that people were concerned.

My thoughts too. If nothing had changed, he wouldn't risk printing something like that, he'd just keep schtum until something was more solid.

Vincent you will probably be a good manager for someone in the future but the diehard Burnley fans don’t want you at our club. You just do not have the wisdom for the championship at present or the experience that we require for this major rebuild. Nice is a beautiful city and the majority of us wish you the best of luck there. Take that job, Burnley is not for you and good luck in France.

Better alternative is Kompany comes to Burnley and you go to Nice. Everyone's a winner then.

Just because they may not be at an official position in the negotiations does not mean they have not discussed terms.

Well you completely made up they discussed terms.

The article said they may have met.

That’s it.

I don’t think so, seems like his own piece that. His colleague Dan Black also suggested an announcement due in a few days.

If the reported backroom team is correct, I'm a little worried. You can have an inexperienced manager to some extent if the team around them is experienced. But that team is far from experienced.

Is there any other names in the hat?
I'd be very surprised if we get Kompany now.

Mike Jackson to start the season? :?
So just I understand, with every journalist (including local) suggesting an appointment is close for VK, and other reliable people very confident, you’d be ‘very surprised’ if we get him? You must be very easily surprised.
