Imagine Aaron Lennon
It's easy if you try
barstewards below us
Above us only sky
Imagine Aaron Lennon
crossing from the wing
Aha-ah...

You may say I'm a Claret
But I'm not the only one
I hope someday you'll join us
And the world will be as one.

My friend,a massive Feyernoord' fan for the last few years, doesn't see 'Jensy' as a Dyche-type player. Sees him more of a CHM who tends to go 'missing' at times but certainly one to keep an eye on. Newcastle supposedly showing interest.
I couldn't agree more. Prior to last season he looked like he was on his way out of Feyenoord, but his performances improved significantly and he received a new contract in May of last year. This season his form has dipped, like a lot of the Feyenoord players. It might be a temporary dip or he could have been experiencing "Henri Lansbury new deal boost syndrome" prior to his contract renewal.

He is one to keep an eye on and it will be interesting to see if he regains the form that he showed last season or if he slips back into the shadows, happy to coast along until his contract runs out. The Jens Toornstra of last season could suit us very well and he would fall within our price bracket, but the Jens of this season wouldn't.

Very pleased with this. Fits our financial structure. Fits the work ethic and has great experience, speed and skill.
