No I think you need to give Luton credit. They didn't try to play it around too much - hack it long and work on the 2nd ball and press us hard and fast. But it worked and put us on the back foot.

Second half we were far more effective and I think we probably score anyway - we began to take chances but the penalty and sending off effectively made them feel hard done to and gave them a second wind
Give credit for what? They were poor.

They created one chance at home.

We can't be 100% every week but if we played our normal game at 70% we win easy.

Because they made it difficult for us. You think its an accident we looked poorer than usual?

Bottom line though is they didn't create v much and as the game wore on we started to assert ourselves in their box more.

Horrible game.

We concentrated on them a bit too much in hindsight. We expected a big bombardment from them, but it never came.
They were poor but we played within ourselves giving them too much respect.

The keeper and defence handled the long balls into the box that did come very well, which hopefully gives us more confidence to play our own way at Millwall.
After time for consideration.......Just how satisfying was that performance......and result.

Quickenthetempo nails it......abslolutely spot on.

Just think how good we can be with our best eleven on the pitch ?.......that's any two from four at centre-back with Manuel and Anass on the flanks .......Frightening prospect for any opposition.

Ok, that's after a celebratory Famous Grouse on the rocks.....or two.

Just a word on Ashley Barnes.......It's not simply his own performance.......It's his influence on all those around him......Just look how they all react to him.......Ashley is Burnley through and through.

I thought Luton played like an SD side on a good day. Not easy to beat and will take points off sides like Sheff Utd and Boro

Watched highlights on EFL show and I personally think in the Prem, Tella wins a pen in second half to before the one we actually get, he is 100% caught but makes to much of the fall
