If it’s any consolation Bournemouth look as poor as we have at times, and they spent massively last January didn’t they?
I think we spent a fair bit this summer ?

Well not quite. This is better than last week, although that's faint praise.

Midfielders being caught in possession time and time and time again.

But if Trafford’s passing was better… ;)

O’Shea with his customary clearance vertical into the sky.

Trafford never fouled the bloke, surprised it’s even being asked.

Not quite.

We are weak down the spine. Even with a full strength squad. We desperately need leadership on the pitch.

I think JC is coming off to protect him from the 2nd yellow, which was probably on its way.

Very unfair on Cullen to basically expect him to run midfield defensive duties all by himself. Taylor's one-footedness makes up really easy to play against. Just a horrible performance all round. If we somehow won this it'll be remembered for a long time as the worst performance for a win.

And dozens of posters hearts break at not being able to level something else at Trafford.

Fwiw, someone referring to him on here as ‘calamity’ needs to have a long look at themself, if they really are a supporter

Experienced manager.

Conditions are foul which doesn’t help but we don’t help ourselves either.

I’m constantly reminding myself while watching this that we are away. Always hard at this level against anyone.

No excuses, Cullen has been dire. Out-muscled, slow thinking, slow passing. The worst performance he has ever put in for us. Pray it’s just an off day or he’s got whatever Lyle has.

Not sure I’d have taken Cullen off.

Becoming increasingly confused by some of Kompany’s team selections/subs.
