Re: Trump's Lies
oh and by the way, when Obama was elected the share price was $14.03. If Trump is being credited with a less than 50% change that he had nothing to do with because he's passed no legislation that would have made a difference, does that mean you're going to credit Obama with the ~+700% change after the litany of legislation he got passed?
No, i didn't think so. I wonder why?

Re: Trump's Lies
Why would someone lie like this?

Re: Trump's Lies
It could be both. It depends if you are calculating the profit in sterling or in dollars. The profit in sterling will be more if the pound dropped against the dollar in the relevant period.Bordeauxclaret wrote:Is it 50% or 81% you’ve made?
Re: Trump's Lies
To all you virtue signalling Libtard SJW's out there portraying Trump as some kind of racist, did you even know he played golf with this coloured cripple and he even lost (probably on purpose). Your lot seem to ignore stories like this but paste CNN fake news all over the place, pathetic.

Add this corker to the long, looooong list of lies by this conman.
"Every single Democrat in the U.S. Senate has signed up for the open borders, and it's a bill, it's called the ‘open borders bill.’ What's going on? And it's written by, guess who? Dianne Feinstein,"

I found a journalist who's reporting you might like. She was investigation corruption in the EU (or at least that's how Fox News framed it, because they're liars). It's a shame she's dead though.
Maybe you far-right types will start respecting journalism a bit more instead of worshipping demagogues who call them the enemy of the people.

I thought his legacy was the fantastic deal he did with Iran. The nation tgat ferments trouble throughout the Middle East. 40 years of trying to talk them.has got the West nowhere. I do know that. And many of those protections protect me from the neoliberal conservatives that have ran this country for decades and who if they could would reduce my working rights to a Banksy work of art.Stayingup wrote:That's correct. There's a lot about the EU I don't like, but they protect me from the Tories.

With the help of a foreign hostile government which Trump probably conspired with. Nothing Clinton was accused of, or investigated for, has even come close to that level of corruption.SmudgetheClaret wrote:This makes it even worse that the pillar of integrity Hilary Clinton got demolished by Trump...

Re: Trump's Lies
She was investigation corruption involving EU funds. That's not the same thing as EU corruption. To say it is would be like saying when Nigel Farage or Marie Le Pen spent their EU funding corruptly that that was EU corruption. In fact i'm confident Fox News would characterise it as that too.ClaretMoffitt wrote:Are ABC news lying as well? No doubt Trump's looking after his business interests. That's all his presidency is really; a means by which he can make money.
It's hilarious to me that a Democrat had to sell his peanut farm when he became president to avoid the perception of a conflict of interests.

Re: Trump's Lies
how is this (seemingly) incomprehensibly stupid person managing a thriving economy that just keeps going from strength to strength?
Re: Trump's Lies
It's a mistake to think that politicians are responsible for economic success or failure. Almost always it is down to wider economic trends. Just as Tony Blair was not responsible for the rapid economic growth while he was PM and Gordon Brown and the succeeding Conservative governments were not responsible for the economic decline that followed. The trends were due to global economic forces.
The problem I have with Trump is that he is utterly disreputable and quite clearly dishonest. I think that to hold high office as he does he must have a certain status in terms of his own character. His admissions of sexual assault, his unsubstantiated condemnation of Sadiq Khan, and now his statement that he finds the Saudi version of their murder to be 'credible' should demonstrate that he is not fit to lead a modern democratic state that prides itself on the values it represents.

Obama mate,Obama. You can't be that stupid that you actually think Trump is responsible for this economy. It is a very slow moving ship is an economy, policy changes today only show up down the line.Unless you are talking deficits in budgets, those show up every year and Trumps tax cuts from last year just registered this week.ClaretMoffitt wrote:how is this (seemingly) incomprehensibly stupid person managing a thriving economy that just keeps going from strength to strength?
