Re: Rovers demise bad for the game.
Blackburn Rovers are good for football, they are a shinning example to others of how not to run a football club.
I believe we made a profit of £30 million plus in the last financial year and a similar amount in the previous year, this is a fantastic achievement, and if we achieve our EPL status this season even better. We are building our club on solid foundations a club, that can stand a relegation knock and not fall apart, unlike Rovers.
Jack Walker built BRFC on sinking sand. Correct me if I am wrong but I don't recall BRFC ever making a profit, he just threw good money after bad, and finally the inevitable is now happening.
Walkers Trust could not wait to get rid of the club to the first set of mugs who came along and what a fine job they are doing.
Long live the Venkys and lets all raise a glass to the demise of B****RD ROVERS.

Oh come on Shabba! How can any Claret not find the Blackburn saga hilarious? Any chance to have another laugh is always welcome.ShabbaRanks wrote:A couple of throwaway comments and he's made a 40 comment thread.

I'm sorry pal, it was early hours, I couldn't sleep and was feeling a bit mischievous. The whole thread is meant to be a joke, can't believe the responses!HiroshimaClaret wrote:Never minded your posts, Saxoman and a few have entertained me BUT this one HAS to be THE most non-sensical one I have ever read on this forum. As a Rovers fan and continuing on your favourite subject of names, maybe you should rename yourself PAXOMAN as Rovers are pretty well stuffed.

I smell bullshite on both accounts here. You weren't fishing, and you didn't know, or have the sense, to work out the reason for Hiroshima's username. Back tracking to save face if ever I've seen it.Saxoman wrote:To be seen right through.. Can't believe anyone would really believe I meant it!

I've never seen you post here before, hence I don't know you and you clearly don't know me if that's your opinion.hoskinsgoalatswansea wrote:I smell bullshite on both accounts here. For a joke, it turned out to be utterly hilarious. I certainly laughed my head off when typing my contribution to this thread. Still laughing now to be honest. You're right I don't post much, but I'm a regular viewer, and see enough of your posts. Don't have any real issues, or interest for that matter, with much of what you post. I'm fairly indifferent to your input. I was just pointing out that that was a clear case of backtracking to save face.Saxoman wrote:I've never seen you post here before, hence I don't know you and you clearly don't know me if that's your opinion.

Having known him longer than most on here, I knew straight away it was a fishing trip, however it could raise the question should a small club be allowed, in future, to be ruined by a sugar daddy?

Talking of demises, feast your eyes on what has to be the finest ever thread on the rovers' forum, where resident head-the-ball Abbey (a man who you can guarantee sits in front of an alchopop splattered screen, and a variety of digestive biscuit crumbs lodged in his t-shirt folds), finally self-combusts. Tremendous scenes!

At least one of them is looking at the positives of relegation, new grounds to visit.

Who's up for setting up a crowd funding page to fly a plane over deadwood on their final home game of the season. A vote for the most hilarious message can be had on here.

Anything to ruffle a few feathers of that lot. Interestingly it's not as overly expensive as I was expecting £595 for an hour...
