It's not much to ask
My Southern neighbours have all been given Haffners pies to try and are all enquiring when my next visit to Burnley is. My pie order on a Saturday is bigger than all the local pubs

best pies in Kent are from Barkaways butchers in Faversham if you're ever passing through!

This site? There was a thread about it earlier. Not sure what's going on. I've not had a problem thankfully.

I think it was about another 7 hours driving from the port.
Sheer torture driving with the smell of a decent Haffners wafting from the boot...

We used to fetch a hamper of Hollands pies and puds back with us. I love a couple of little babbies eds smothered in mushy peas.
Now, to my great relief, we can get them in Iceland, the store.

No news from the game.
Used to love making Meat and Potato (with cubed steak) and filling a pie dish with a shortcrust top.
Season it well and boil the cubed potatoes in beef oxo and allow to reduce down ( we just scored )
before adding the meat. ALWAYS blind bake the bottom crust.
Bacon and Bean was also a favourite of mine.
Haven't made either for ages though.

Indigo yes - I use a slow cooker for my steak and mushroom pies and then put the lid on in a separate big dish when the meat's really tender. Trouble is I seem to have lots of visitors who are a bit peckish by coincidence!

I'm gonna film my missus saying that. Whilst pouring gravy over her bare chest.
That's Pie Porn that.

Had a brilliant pasty in a butchers in Jedburgh weekend before last.
Best pies I've had were in a butchers in Grange over Sands in South Lakes. The town seemed dead, apart from the queue outside the butchers.
By the way, GET IN SAM.
