Just watched it on the BBC highlights, what a great move from the team and great finish from Defour. First goal wasn't shabby either. Heaton's save, excellent.

Apparently KRBFC thought it was poor as Defour should have used his weaker left foot ....... with his eyes shut .............. whilst juggling ........ and ordering this evenings takeaway. It's all Dyches fault.

What a wonderful player we have the opportunity to watch, that goal was brilliant.
His angles of running are brilliant, his first touch is the best I've ever seen and the way he hassles and nicks the ball is absolutely superb.
I think we are watching a player that's on a higher level that most of us have ever seen.

Similar box to box goal as the winner against Palace (not in the finish obviously). What Karanka & some other people would call 'direct' football. I'm just loving all games on the Turf this season.

I've said this before but the best player I've seen in a Burnley shirt.
That puts him ahead of Dobson, Steven, James and Coates.
He has a way to go to be a Burnley legend but he doesn't lack the skill.

Obviously not based on what he has achieved for us... but in terms of what skill he naturally has he is amazing.

To think he is a self proclaimed croc... he would be scarily good without his career changing injuries.

Interesting question.

Today: Defour (I guess he's got the most caps?), Vokes, Barton, JBG, Hendrick, Arfield. Have I missed any one?

Other internationals in the squad (but not today's team): Heaton, Robinson (can't play more than 1 keeper at a time), Ward.

Have I got that right?

Michael Keane, of course, will soon be full international.

Need to bring Robbie Brady in.

Will be great to be able to field full XI - all current internationals. Maybe next transfer window, not this one. ;)

Yes, I realise that you (might have) also meant different countries. That will take a little longer...

Boyd a Scottish cap or two

In terms of internationals of different nationalities must be a record.

I've watched that time and again, and I still can't figure it out. Agree on his vision to bust a gut to get back in front again, and thankfully our Icelandic hero also had the vision for the pick

He's the most talented and gifted player i've ever seen in a Burnley shirt, the team should be built around him, not stick him out on the left, he see's thing quickly, and has the talent to execute them, fantastic !

Anyone know roughly what time Barton's volley pass was? Saves me scrolling through the whole game in Clarets Player

The only thing that concerns me about defour is his body language. We obviously like him plenty. I'd like him to like US more than he seems to. He's being idolised from the CFS, and I LOVE a player who makes an effort with the fans. Jonesy used to applaud the fans on his way over to take a corner, that sort of thing.

He IS spectacularly good though. I think he's the best I've seen.

If it's not in defours character to get into it like that then fair enough. Just my thoughts is all. I'm being picky I know, but I want him to love it here and never leave.

I was lucky enough to be in the 1882 Lounge yesterday and Defour came in after the game as Man of the Match. Had my picture taken with him and had a very quick chat. He does seem quite shy and quiet, and I think that's more to do with his body language and demeanour. He was equally as non-demonstrative about his wonder goal!

I think his previous experiences with "fans" have probably scarred him.

Although he "broke" an unwritten rule when he joined Anderlecht from Porto that tifo made by the Standard fans was way, way over the top.

Belgianclaret may well have mentioned this already so apologies in advance to him and all of you in but just read a quote from a few days ago (he was being interviewed on TV).

He was asked about his "difficulties" a few months ago and he replied that he feels much fitter and sharper. "I've worked a lot over the last few months and I hope I can play regularly (from now on)."
