Thank you ClaretEngineer for bringing up the "Can I get ..." nightmare. Grind my teeth to dust on a daily basis hearing this. Surely the only civilised response to "Can I get a coffee" is "No you can't because that would involve you coming round this side of the counter and you can't do that".

It's a Southern thing....along with choc-clate (with a pause and two Cs!). While replying, I just want to say I hate hipster beards on anyone and also those OTT bushy beards on players such as that hideous growth on the face of that defender at Palace - totally unnecessary. And don't get me started on old men trying to replicate that odd finger flicking/clicking gesture when they approve of something and also the same old blokes pointing down with their index finger and little finger (E17 style) saying 'down with the kids' with a West Indian accent. Aaaargh - whip them!

The absolute waste of taxpayers money being thrown at the roundabouts with traffic lights on the junctions of 11, 12 and 13 of the M65 between Burnley and Barrowford. A mind blowingly stupid waste of everyones time, money and patience.

There should be something programmed in: If you take too long to enter 4 digits, your card is 'swallowed' and you have to contact the bank for a replacement. There should be ATM exams, so people can be trained to use braincells.

This was something I thought about quite recently having been reprimanded by the council for putting black plastic in the recycling.

Surely it should be a given / law that all plastic should be made to be recyclable. Don't make it black if that prevents it from being so.
