They might beat Brizzle but I can see that being it. Losses in the remainder unless they somehow manage to fluke points from somewhere. Oooops, one win and the rest defeats won't be enough :D

I think they have thrown the towel in. The centre halves missing for the rest of the season is their undoing. Hopefully Accy get up through playoffs and do the double to claim the title of East Lancs second club. LLTV

I'v actually spent much more time staring at the bottom of the Championship table than the Premier League table since 5.00pm yesterday.

Newcastle..................8
Brighton.....................9
Huddersfield..............13
Reading......................14
Leeds..........................17
Sheffield wed .............19
Norwich.......................23
Fulham........................25
Barnsley......................25
Preston........................26
Derby............................27
Cardiff...........................32
Ipswich........................34
Birmingham.................34
Brentford......................37
Aston villa....................38
Nottingham forest.......38
Wolves..........................39
QPR...............................40
Bristol city.....................42
Burton...........................43
Wigan............................45
Rotherham....................57

Remember if Blackburn lose all numbers drop by 3. If they draw all magic numbers drop by 2. If a team wins their own number drops by 3 and if they draw it drops by 1.
When all teams bar 2 are at zero then Blackburn are down.

These were the fixtures and the standings 10 matches ago.
Bristol city play QPR at home before they play rovers and forest play Cardiff away after rovers. Wins for both of them in both matches and their respective Magic numbers would be 0 and -1. We'd only have burton to worry about and their next matches are
Ipswich home
Birmingham away
Leeds home
Barnsley away
Reading home
Not easy I know but their magic number, if rovers lose to forest and Bristol, would only be 5. Meaning a win and a two draws would be enough even if rovers won their last 3.
Happy days

Ooh look Wigans magic number just went down by 3
He he he

If rovers don't win today (away at forest) and Bristol ( at home to QPR ) and Burton (at home to Ipswich) both win it will be very close to champagne and cigars time.

Looking at this fixtures I would be very worried as a brum fan.

I think Forest and Ba5tards only need to find one win each. In fact I can see Rovers drawing all three.

Hoping the fact they are away twice including to end the season is a factor.

They're in trouble if Brum get a point.

Only thing is their goal difference is better if it comes down to a tie
between them and Brum.

Rovers and Birmingham both have really tough games

If Forest can get something, then we might be quite enjoying next weekend

That's the Official version, but basically, we need Brentford to win next Sunday, and Forest not to implode against Ipswich....

Just read the whole thread back. That win at forest was a massive plus for them. I'm a Brentford fan on Sunday.

Bookies still have them at 4/7 to go down and Forest 3/1. Got to be worth a tenner on Forest and pray that you lose your money
