The older ones are the best. They've grafted in proper kitchens and worked 18 hour shifts. Not kitchen were there's 4 chefs for every cover.

Stayed down at Steins restaurant a few times long ago. One night after we'd eaten, supped up etc, we had a wander round Padstow pubs and got back to the restaurant bar late. He waltzed in after walking Charlie his (ex) dog and proceeded to wax lyrical about food and drink he'd just discovered. Came across really genuine and very passionate/sincere about his new finds. I'd still rather come across Nigella though.

Her best episodes were when she was using a mezzaluna. Glorious tv Mr Hungry One. Wish our TV was 3D.
