Doc Martins with levis, plus bomber jacket or prince of wales check trousers and loafers or even a Harrington looks ok with the appropiate Ben Sherman underneath.
PME LEGEND gear not bad these days either.

Re: Jeans with white trainers
not for me to say is it? But given a few comments you have made on the post I feel you must be a jeans, white trainers and white socks, possibly with a matching white belt.Flatline wrote:What's right, then we'll know how to dress properly?
If it works for you then you should not be worried about what others think, I wear what I want and never worry about others, however I have my own thoughts on fashion and many other things in life

Re: Jeans with white trainers
If you are going to wear a Harrington then it has to be a Baracuta G4 that is one without the elasticated waist or cuffs.

Re: Jeans with white trainers
What do you make of those 'Harrington's' Corky, that have been selling all over the internet in recent weeks, for £20 [all colours]?
Re: Jeans with white trainers
Hi Hampstead; whilst I have been treating this thread as a bit of fun there is no doubt that you get what you pay for. I have seen some of the cheap ones and they are pretty awful. Although I've got to say that of the cheap ones Relco seem the best. But if you can shell out £250 then Baracuta all day long. But I appreciate that that may be far too much for some people. I think London Fog Harringtons deserve a mention, they were pretty good back in the day. I actually went to a Northern Soul do at Teddington last Friday and there was a guy actually wearing some tonics and my heart did skip a beat.

Never worn a white belt in my life,if I got offered one I'd give them a good belting and I haven't worn white socks since the 80's,cheeky bint! ;)I've got loads of trainers, all different colours but only Adidas though, that's my rule on trainer fashion.KateR wrote:not for me to say is it? They don't for me, KateR though has no style and that's why she can't come up with an alternative.Alanstevensonsgloves wrote:Surely Stan Smiths never go out of fashion?

fashionless Kate, that's me lol
I do have one pair of trainers that's true, black and purely for exercise as I would never go out in them, but each to his own, my taste is definitely not everyone's that's for sure
But I do have style (she thinks lol)
