As a supporter and objective observer I question whether Dyche has got the talent to take us any further. When Southampton sacked Adkins it was absolutely scandalous given where they were and the job he had done but they took an opportunity to sell their club at its most attractive and find someone better who took them on to the next step.
Now i realise that they could have picked the wrong person and gone backwards and looked like idiots and thats the risk they took.
Personally id love to see Dyche grow as a manager and by doing so take us to another level but if next season ends up with players like Barnes, Boyd, Barton instead of better quality attacking players then I would rather trust the board who has served us impeccably way beyond Dyche's tenure to find the next step up from Dyche when our club is as attractive a proposition than it has probably ever been

Show some faith and belief in our board rather than assuming they would make the same awful mistakes as that mess down the roadmybloodisclaret wrote:Like rovers did getting rid of Sam. That didn't work out all that bad for em.

I do!! That's why I, like them, think Sean's the man. Have some faith in the best manager since Harry Potts.Devils_Advocate wrote:Show some faith and belief in our board rather than assuming they would make the same awful mistakes as that mess down the road

Re: Barton's FA Hearing
Ive clearly said I back Dyche to take us to the next level next season but if he is not able to I back the board to make some tough decisions and trust them not to just sit back and think how well weve done and how lucky we aremybloodisclaret wrote:I do!! No matter how much we've achieved we should always look on with a critical and challenging eye and look to keep improving and if that includes questioning Dyche then embrace it cos blind faith wont get you anywhere
As for the last comment reminding us this thread was about Barton, I'm sorry to take it off track but I think we've already established that Barton has been a weak link for the last couple of months and a ban will be a blessing in disguise

Another rank bad performance, another crucial goal given away.
