Re: Vizeh - Palace
Is sitting down on the coach ok?
My point was, I don't want snoop doggy dogg or whoever blasted out whilst I'm confined on a coach. Young uns music isn't my type. I don't suppose these young uns want to listen to stiff little fingers for the said five hours, so I'm considerate enough not to do it.

There's defo a Geordie accent creeping in there now too!

I am assuming you stood up, went to the back of the coach, and politely requested that they not do that, before you came on here to bawl about it?bobinho wrote:Is sitting down on the coach ok?

He has passion to burn, good luck to him with his Vlogs doing a great job, I do not watch them all the time but one now and again is OK, I'm 55 now so the lads of his age get on my wick after a few jars, probably same as I got on peoples wick when I was his age, definitely got a career in media as has a natural talent for it.

Vizeh,
Another gnarled old Longsider here, been supporting the Clarets since the mid-60s.
It takes all sorts of people to make up the fanbase of a club and everyone has a right to back the team in their own way. Some people prefer to sit quietly and spend 90 minutes eating a bag of sandwiches, fine. Some people want to enjoy the whole day out including giving it full volume for 90 minutes, fine. I admire your dedication and enthusiasm, and your passion for the Clarets is fantastic.
Social media and the ability to put up this sort of item is now part of life, and living 3,000 miles from the Turf I actually enjoy watching your stuff now and again – reminds me a bit of when I was your age. Especially like watching the world go by from the coach windows
I’ve gone through several stages in my Claret life, from being a wide-eyed youngster going with my dad, to being popped-up and getting involved in silly stuff, to having wonderful away days out and many laughs with mates, to sitting in the family stand when starting to take my own lad to games, to now being a Claret exile relying on TV and the internet. The fans including yourself are vital to the club’s continued success, your online postings reach around the world and simply add a bit of colour for those who choose to view it. Keep it up lad, and the Clarets staying up this season will make all the hours of travel and editing worth it. Cheers from the US.

Re: Vizeh - Palace
I remember going to watch us at Reading at Elm Park, so ****** that I don't remember the game or the score and had to rely on the barriers to stand up.
I blame the two squaddies I met on the train from London who drank like fishes on our pre-match boozing though!
Point being, we've all done it, and it was great fun, so it does seem a bit churlish to expect kids to behave better than we did.

Re: Vizeh - Palace
Why are you assuming? No need to assume. I was clear. And who's bawling? Not me. So calm ya self. Vizeh is a confident young man so I'm sure he could get upset on his own behalf.SGr wrote:I am assuming you stood up, went to the back of the coach, and politely requested that they not do that, before you came on here to bawl about it?
As already pointed out, I enjoy his vlogs. I subscribe. Do you?
Look, I'm a gentleman of a certain age, and being couped up and forced to listen to other people's idea of good music isn't really my thing. That's all the remark was about. By all means make it bigger if you like. I go away, with Accy Clarets sometimes, and I have a good time. Much like these lads. But I'm at an age where my good time doesn't upset others. At least, that's my plan.
I wasn't on this particular coach. But if I was, and someone on there bothered me that much, then yes, a polite request would be made. Hopefully, that's where it would end. I certainly wouldn't just sit there quietly, then come on here chopsing.
Although I'm sure the day was very pleasant, when something is edited into a vlog, it seems a little more intense than it actually is. What I actually said was I wouldn't want five hours of it. But there probably wasn't five hours of it, was there?
Anyway, as I already said, I'm glad the lad had a good day out, and saw the Clarets win away.

Re: Vizeh - Palace
Trust me Bob, if anyone came up to us on the coach asking us to turn down the music or turn it off all together we would've had no issue with that. Even the lass that was in charge of Accy Clarets on the coach went to everyone saying if we was doing their head in just let her know. Pretty much everyone on the coach that day was there for a laugh, christ there was even a lad with a full chicken outfit on ahaha. It wasn't my choice by the way the speaker just a mate brought it with him.bobinho wrote: I wasn't on this particular coach. Re: Vizeh - Palace
I'm sure you would've vizeh. An hour or two I'm sure I could manage, but as I said, 5 might be a bit much for me. You seem like a passionate young lad who loves his away days. Think I was on ur coach for either Liverpool or Everton. Or maybe it was some other young uns.
My remarks weren't meant to be personal, it was general. Apologies to you if that's how they made you feel. I do come across as a bit stroppy sometimes.
Anyway, glad you got the away win you wanted to see.

Keep up the good work, young un. Ignore the boring miserable owd farts. I for one in my late 50s can relate to you having watched Burnley home and away, since I was in infant school. If you were my lad I would be proud of you, if we meet on our travels I will most certainly send a drink in your direction

Is this lad trying to steal my crown of "most popular Burnley fan?" Move along now son, there's only one crown and it says KRBFC on it.

Re: Vizeh - Palace
Vizeh is completely mental about Burnley.
Reminds me of 25 -30 years ago when i was doing exactly the same with the same passion although without a camera. ( might have help me remember more if i had had a camera though)
Mind you we werent playing the same calibre of competition back then lol.
This is was makes us all clarets. Real passion for a great football club.
Keep up the good work pal

This thread would be a lot longer and wouldn't have as many nice words on it if it was the 70's or 80's, and we did Vlogs.

Re: Vizeh - Palace
Another vote for Vizeh from an old fart. I have a 16 year old step daughter. She is single-mindedly focused on having a career in animation. She started out quite young creating hand-drawn YA comics before moving digital.
This weekend, Mrs NRC, a theater teacher at a gifted and talented middle school, showed her artwork from the current crop of students. She was critical. Mrs NRC and I looked at the work, then at her, then again, and we instantly took her phone off her. Her contempt for the effort of others will prove her downfall, whereas Vizeh, in following his two passions, will be able to show a future employer his achievements through dedication, and his youtube following.
He's an example to my stepdaughter. Someone to admire, not criticize.
