As long as we get a trade deal that doesn't mess up the economy, I'm fairly chilled about what happens.

Problem is, there are enough people who think WTO tariffs are a good idea in the Conservative Party to worry me.

Guess we will see

So if France come out after their election and the EU falls apart. Who would we have to pay the 65 billion to? Junkers personal bank account?

The little countries already are saying they won't put more in to the kitty. Tick tock.

Speaking of WTO tariffs, it doesn't seem to be great news for the farming industry https://www.theguardian.com/business/20 ... -say-peers" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;

On the upside, maybe Paul Dacre won't be able to build on the £500k plus he's received from the EU under the CAP.

If France votes le Pen, then first thing she has to do is leave the EU.

As Trumpy has found in the US, saying stuff and actually getting stuff done are two totally different things.

Le Pen has a far, far, far bigger problem with immigration issues and the threat of terrorism than we have. If the French haven't woke up and connected the dots that open borders and immigration are a DIRECT link to terrorism and their way of life, then it's too late for them. Thankfully, The British voted out and YES it as mostly based on immigration and to stop you left wing snowflake teapot's letting more of the **** in! I just hope Le Pen wins. Have a look around Burnley and Blackburn. If you don't see a problem then you're WAAAAAAAAAAAAAY past saving.

If France votes le pen then it's safe to assume they would vote out in a referendum.

How's that swamp draining coming along? Do you think Trumpy will drain his administration of his own George Soros funded son-in-law?

Cheers for that Thin Lizzy

Vote for fascists, because they are going to persecute a minority.

That always ends well

Talk about moving the goalposts. I thought "draining the swamp" meant getting rid of the establishment? You know, all those people that Trumpy appointed to his cabinet. But now it means taking over from a term-limited president, and accepting the help of Putin to get your own wannabe dictator elected.

There is no way you can be happy with his performance so far. You'll pretend you are because of pride, but you and I know the truth.

I doubt it Ringo, but he was the brilliant frontman of Thin Lizzy, Mum was from Dublin and Dad from Caribbean. I guess he would have been a fan of controlled immigration :)

Fair enough for your own opinions and personal politics but it's the kind of de-humanisation (eg. "Tories are arrogant") which quickly descends from actual discourse into dogma - "you must NEVER vote for the Conservatives". When this happens, the argument is lost.

And if you assume a moral superiority without backing it up with argument then you're on a very slippery road. If your opponents are immoral then they easy to justify all kinds of behaviour (eg. punching "fascists", rioting, looting etc).

That's how apparently "pleasant" people turn violent and nasty.

I hope the people of Britain consider very seriously the history of this man and ask whether a party which promotes people like him is one that is fit to form a government. I have faith that they will do so and will come to the correct conclusion.
