If you have a drink/drugs problem you are often excluded from hostels. Plenty of empty houses in Burnley but too many people incapable of maintaining a tenancy without intensive support. Too many people being conned by beggars in Burnley, especially the ones that sit by the Pioneer car park.

As a charity we had a massive amount of EU funding to help with the problem so that's going to create another big hole

It's a disgrace and needs sorting
If anyone in power really cared it would be all but eradicated in a year, but they don't care.

Unfortunately Wes Hall a clever lad, has only ever used his intelligence for manipulation and scams. He has even had me over. I gave him plenty of chances but ultimately he only ever had self centred intentions. Which means if and when he does eventually do good nobody can help but be cynical about him and his intentions.Quickenthetempo wrote:I thought Burnley's very own Wesley Hall was going to sort it all out?
I pity him. He was clever, witty and artistic. But wasted. Massively.

Residents from the grenfell tower have been offered properties as far north as Preston and further.refuse and they're making themselves intentionally homeless.which affects and benefits the could be entitled to.if they accept offers of temporary accommodation ,they forfeit their position on the local council list.surprise surprise....tim_noone wrote:Its not a mental health problem ill education or unemployment problem. If you watched the council house programme on 4 tonight there was no ill health or education problems....just a determined effort to kick everyone out of london. Then the mental health problems start your told to go hundreds of miles away and isolate your self.its a determined effort by those that wield the power.who do you think is on the streets in manchester....glasgow...birmingham? Relocated residents from elsewhere. The mental health and drug issues then take over.
